Nail Color:
Start: Believe Beauty Gel Effect nail polish, "Serene," one coat, and one coat of Sally Hansen "Big Kwik Dry" top coat.
Final Color: LA Colors Color Craze nail polish, "Electra," two coats, and one coat of "Out The Door" top coat (on right thumb and part of the right index finger), and one coat of Sally Hansen "Big Kwik Dry" top coat on the remaining digits.
In this video, I'll be changing out my nail polish for a new shade. I hope you enjoy it! :)

I think most of the dislikes, if not all, must be people mistakenly hitting the thumbs down. There's literally nothing, imo, about this video to not like!

I wouldn’t dislike the video but I found watching it a little stressful especially the first coat when it was so messy 😆 I just wanted to neaten it up and make it perfect

Have you ever watched Simply Nailogic's RU-vid channel. She is a nail polish enthusiast and she has this peel off base coat!! It's amazing (well watching her peel off her nail polish before she redoes them in a new color!! I've never used it but) I would love to see you use this in one of your nail videos!!

I'm loving this one!! Honestly, I felt like I could smell the nail polish through the screen as soon as you opened the bottle, and I mean that in a good way! Very nostalgic for me, actually, like everyone painting each other's nails at a sleepover, or picking out special nail polish to do with a babysitter or something! Lovely video as always!

omg I love SH insta dry! I was a nail tech for years, but as a busy mom, I don't have the time/patience to treat myself to a manicure. Insta dry looks pretty decent for a few days, and goes on like a dream. Like, literally, all you need is 3 minutes and you've got great looking nails.

After months and months of lockdown, this video of yours and the general summer time atmosphere got me to actually buy a new nail polish at a local store and do a complete homemade manicure. Unfortunately some comments on her food videos in the past were not nice. I haven’t read them but apparently some negative people got triggered by sandwich making of all things and couldn’t just say nothing. Some oddball even commented on one of Mary’s videos a few months ago that she didn’t like her knuckles…like, what? Mary was graceful as usual, pinned and laughed at her comment, then Knuckle Hater got skewered by everyone in the comments. Certain people just shouldn’t have the ability and privilege to comment on videos, though.

Hello Mary have you ever tried the Sally Hansen gel nail kit that includes the lamp? It’s great and the polish lasts much longer. Once the top coat is applied you wipe nail polish remover over the tops to get the stickiness off and it’s instantly dry.

Hi! I really don't see a need for fake nails. My own nails are naturally thick and shaped well, and I can really grow them about as long as I want. The only time I wear fake nails is when I do a "Charity" roleplay.

Try the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat that I use here. Orly makes a good one, too, but you have to make sure you use it every single time you apply nail polish.

I heard that if you add a little nail polish remover to gummy polishes it will thin them back out 🤷‍♀️ may be worth a try?

It’s better to add a couple drops of actual nail polish thinner. It is better to maintain the chemical composition of the polish. You can buy nail polish thinner at any Sally Beauty Supply or on Amazon. Read the directions because you do not want to add too much. Mary’s nails are epic! I love her nail polish collection videos.

I second Mary Beth’s comment. Grab Beauty Secrets’ Polish thinner from Sally Beauty. Watch out on Amazon, though. I bought one there in a hurry without examining the ingredients and it’s basically watered down nail polish remover. Useless. OPI and I believe Orly also make good thinners. Another myth is to keep your polish in the refrigerator. Heat will make it gummy but colder temperatures can also. Keeping it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight is the best bet.

Has anyone ever diagnosed you with Ehlers Danlos syndrome? I can bet my money you have it...i can tell by the way your fingers hyper-extend. I also have it so I tend to notice it in ppl. Love the video! ❤❤❤
