Some examples are worshiping other false gods, making idols, taking the Lords name in vain, not keeping Gods day of rest on the Sabbath day, dishonoring our parents, murder, adultery, stealing, lying, coveting, sexual immorality, divination, witchcraft, and more. Sin is the reason we die and it is makes us deserving of punishment in hell. But God loves us so much and is so merciful, He has made the way for us to be reconciled to Him. He sent Jesus His Son, who is One with God, so that we can be saved through Him. Jesus was crucified on a cross and was treated terribly. He died to pay for our sins in our place. Jesus is sinless, He gave Himself as the sacrifice for us. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death 🙌 John 3:16 in the Bible says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” If anyone repents and places their faith in Jesus, they will be saved. When we repent we have a change of mind about our sin, we realize we have done evil against God, which leads to turning away from sin and turning to Jesus 🙏 when we place our faith in Him we trust that He died for our sins and rose on the third day, we trust in Him alone to save us. The Bible is Gods word; it shows us the truth, guides us, teaches us how to follow God, and shows us Gods merciful and loving character. The Old Testament is before Jesus came in the Bible and the New Testament is when He came. Matthew, Mark, Luke. And John are the all about Jesus’s teachings on how to follow Him, His miracles, and life. It’s very important for us to read to know Truth 🩷 God bless you and have a great day/night!
