@@horn5558 Positive reinforcement is a thing though man, of course a lot of sporitual stuff is bs but 100% of the universe has a frequency that can be tuned into. Our minds work on frequency too, we're carbon based electromagnetic beings. So listen, I've done a lot of mushrooms; crystals don't have healing properties, but people do. I always get crystals for my friends because it's the energy of the experience that creates positivity, not because the crystals have healing properties; it's us

I mainly think of my viewers first and what they would want to watch for asmr (I’m not a spiritual channel just an asmr channel that requests spiritual therapists to film sessions together!) I can see on my RU-vid creator page that loads of my subscribers wanted this kind of spiritual content to help them sleep and so that is why I film it 👍✨I don’t film and upload these treatments with the intention of critiquing them I just film them to help people relax!

If you want to be strictly scientific about it, then no, these things do not make a difference beyond the things you mentioned. Being in a relaxing environment with someone taking care of you, and being told it will help somehow, is just creating a placebo. A very convincing one, often enough. Look at one of the most famous healers (or infamous rather) João Teixeira de Faria, who apparently performed countless miracles, curing cancer and whatnot. The reason it "worked" when it did was due to a lot of things unrelated to him, his confidence and conviction, and the fact that the people who came to him were invariably very desperate, very spiritual, and very ready to accept whatever he said as gospel. Scientifically, it's just not real. That's why the benefits and "side effects" are so extremely varied. It all depends on what you are psychologically willing and able to accept and believe, and how many things that happen to your body following the treatment you're willing to attribute to the healing session. But if it helps you and makes you feel great, that's still a nice thing in the end, regardless of the healing itself being fake.

No, these do not work - there is no scientific basis behind it and you cannot prove that it works in any way, shape or form. The only way in which it feels like it's working is the placebo effect - where your body and mind think that it's working therefore your body adjusts to said feeling (it has been well documented since it's a scientific phenomenon). The reason why he seemed totally normal is that it is really profitable so he has to seem as professional as possible - 100gbp for 30minutes, that is 200gbp an hour! If not my morals then I would be looking to switch jobs right now.

All these sessions are around London and so I currently use a portable ic recorder which I place next to my head as I cannot carry anything too heavy with me! 😭 I’m also not sure I can invest in anything too pricey unless this channel becomes profitable!😊

@@asmr_beauty sorry, I don’t know much about mics themselves. But I do see a lot of dynamic mics set up, opposed to condenser mics used for podcasts and singing. Dynamic mics are t generally used for sensitive sounds, but handle loud sounds better.
