I'm not much of a gamer, but my favorite Nintendo game character is Kirby, which first came out in the early 90s. Luna Bloom ASMR got me interested in him :).
This video has my childhood wrapped up in one room. That wall clock, the boom box, Ms Pacman, Michal Jackson, Top Gun, Tape cassettes, All you need is a swatch watch and a members only jacket. I'm going to be re-watching this a few times just for the nostalgia.

This woman is BRILLIANT! Her speaking voice alone is sedating. I'm addicted to all of her haircut videos, not to mention all the other ones. Her props are incredible..
an 80s slumber party or like a series of different 80s ASMR would be cool but I appreciate how catplant videos satisfy all of my aesthetic and relaxation needs ;) because there are very few real ASMRtists who put this much effort in a video and what makes catplant easily relaxing is her natural calm demeanor that very few ASMR channels have
The old camara style at the begging made me so nostalgic, my mother used to record everything on her old camara, when ever i felt sad i would just look trough the videos and pictures. I sadly dont have that camara anymore

Very calming vibe. I dont particularly enjoy haircuts, but after beginning this video I got hypnotized and actually felt for some time like I was back in the past, than next thing I new it was at the end. I get a feeling Catplant is using clinical research, and there is going on than just her talent for improv

I was a teenager in the 80s - this video is pure concentrated 80s. And it's awesome! Something from every year, 80-89, condensed into one place at one time. I'm not sure why but Catplant reminds me of Mia Sara's character in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986).
Favorite Super Nintendo game, hands down is Super Mario:Legend of the Seven Stars. For those who don’t know, it was a Mario game that was developed by Square (now SquareEnix). It was a turned-based rpg that had so many FF elements to it. Favorite part of the game was unlocking the secret boss. FFIV battle music plays during the fight and the victory song plays once you end. At the time, I had no idea about any FF games and so the Easter egg boss fell flat on me. However now, looking back it was the coolest thing. Also, Geno. For those who know, you know 👍 Currently playing Crisis Core:Reunion. Love Cloud, but gosh dang Zack is the man. You probably don't know, but all equipment of the 80s that you have on video (i mean Japanese tape recorders, color TVs of the Trinitron type) was in the Soviet Union almost in the early 90s. In addition, we had our own Super Nintendo, named Dendy 🙂

I lived through the 80’s. Graduated in 90 from Pendleton High School. Spent a lot of weekends skiing on Mt Hood back then. Enjoyed the nostalgia, but I was glad to leave the 80’s behind.😂

Awesome content Catplant you were one of the first ASMRtists that I found when I was struggling with anxiety. Ps nice touch with the cassette addition and I still use Cassette tapes to this day.
This was very wholesome and nostalgic, but based on the way the conversation was going I think the customer was a lot more interested in Catplant than in the games. They didn't want to play anything!

Totally radical 80's movie twist (involving space, of course): This whole room is actually inside an alien zoo, but they set it up like this for you because the last radio/tv signals they intercepted from earth were from the 80's because they're 35 light years away so they think this is how we rock. You aren't complaining though--they provided a bodacious preppie babe and gnarly Nintendo games. Crank up the gain on that tape deck and party on!
