In Korea, we say it's good luck when we find a cat whisker So I collected it for 4 yrs whenever I find them hehe I thought the sound would be good, but it's a bit loud and strong than I thought.. I have four cats and have had cats my whole life, but I only learned about the whiskers shedding when I kept finding “porcupine quills” all over! Specifically dark based white tipped “hairs” that didn’t match any of my cats color of hair. It was then I realized it was a whisker!! hahaha only one of my cat has porcupine whiskers, the other cats have solid white or black and look like any other hair so I never noticed the difference between whiskers and regular fur.
it’s just one of their ways of shedding ! just like how we lose dead skin cells and hair, cats lose their hair and whiskers with time as well. it’s actually quite interesting bc if they’re stressed it can actually contribute to them losing their hair and whiskers in larger amounts the way we lose hair when we’re stressed ! :)
I keep my cats whiskers too that fall out! More for sentimental reasons but I haven’t heard they are good luck before so now they are more special to me! Thanks for always putting me in a relaxed sleepy mood! Love your videos so much!!

one time my cat (who has long whiskers) got one of her whiskers caught in those bug traps u stick in the corner of rooms and stuff and she panicked and tried to get it off so there was a bug trap flying wildly around her head, attached to a single whisker
