"I can't stand mouth breathers or anything mouth related". Me with a deviated septum, and in a spiral of self-absorption: Currently mouth breathing (my nostrils together make up like 44% of a single functional nostril). Then, closing my mouth self consciously watching this video 😂 Going to an imaginary land where I'm on a lunch date with Btec, mentally calculating how long I can slowly asphyxiate myself by nose breathing without Btec noticing so he can enjoy his lunch. Then, with the acting question, having an IRL flashback to Voice and Speech class at acting school where we actually laid on the wood floor and did guided breathing for an hour with the lights off while listening to the Interstellar soundtrack. Suppressing the compulsion to recommend Meisner and a slew of other acting related things to btec, or that "never too late" phrase (which is actually true since all ages and varieties are needed to tell stories). Which is then t-boned by a train of existential dread, as he reflects the same thoughts I had about acting and uncertainty. Feeling an intense welling of affinity and desire to ambush with hugs. Then getting suplexed off said train by the contrasting pride and envy of seeing a former scene partner in a major netflix series. Followed by more existential dread and regret being exactly 10 years older than Btec and being only marginally closer to figuring out what I'm doing than I was at his age. Except the psychiatrist meds, finally got those figured out. 😂
