About the posture: You'd be surprised how often the cause for tensions and sudden changes in posture can be caused by tension in the feet and legs, even if you don't notice anything there. A very subtle change to the very lower body parts then can start a "chain reaction" and travel up all the way through the body. I had issues like that a lot when I first started going to the gym. I got a set of foam rollers / balls to basically self massage the bottom of my feet, the calves, upper leg and my lower back. It did cost me 40 bucks iirc but was well worth the investment. ah i didn't even think of that- i know i have a misalignment in my hips but it's on the opposite side so it didn't occur to me. and completely forgot about my foam roller so will have to find that and see if it helps! thank you so much :)
