I Don't get ASMR... Half or most have their pants down while watching or sit with their credit card to have their name said so They can blast their load... Say i'm wrong SJW's 😊
Your cartography videos have inspired me to imagine my own continents and geography! You're so interesting and passionate about showing us these maps, so it really made me want to invent some of my own
I literally just felt the same. I've been watching ASMR religiously for about 5 years and lost my tingles. I clicked on this video an hour before going to work and felt intense tingles from the first few seconds
@@Bubbles-vf2qd You don't understand. I'm in the same predicament and I'd spend a lot of money to not be immune to tingles. I've been listening to ASMR before the term was coined, so 10+ years. Probs got an immunity after listening for a year.
Ridiculous how pleasing his English pronunciation is to listen to, better than most native speakers but this evil language did him dirty with ecclesiastical.
Most of it's pretty easy for CK2 players aswell, considering you can actually play this time period in the game. Although with less of the world to play in.
@Preacher Blackout God Innate border gore. Especially when you have a large empire and it's your vassals just expanding in every direction regardless of whetger you want the territory or not
Fellow history nerd hi5 Also a map nerd. I love me some maps I can stare at that shit all day, especially fantasy maps...particularly the game of thrones map
@@saysHotdogs same thing here...U love fantasy so much that I make my own maps and continents...but it doesnt look really good tbh...Lord of The Rings map has inspired me to do mine...also I love to make my own country flags...
Ecclesiastical - ecc-leez-ee-ast-ical. Viscounty - Vy-county. English is notorious for using letters with no bearing on the word’s pronunciation. I hope my attempt at phonetics helps somewhat, should you encounter those words ever again. As always, a pleasure to be graced by your unique ability to give me tingles (no other channels/asmr-ists do anymore). Thank you.
+Neal McBeal the navy seal, Thanks for the feedback! Hadn’t paid so much attention to it, but I guess ”tracing with pointer” is an asmr trigger, after reading some of your comments, and that’s great to know! 😃
Great vid, I've played far too much EU IV not to be frighteningly familiar with this layout before you even began, so this was a total surprise of a video topic to scroll past.
ASMRtica : "I've never seen/heard this word before." Me : *staring at word intently making sure it's an English word* 'Neither have I. Dear God I'm being taught new things from 1378' 😂 SO HAPPY TO SEE ANOTHER ATLAS ft. The pointer 🙌
Your map drawing and tracing videos are absolutely amazing, and I keep coming back to them all the time. An idea I’d throw around is maybe you could draw maps of countries that no longer exist. I think that’d be neat, or just draw old maps, although the tracing/explaining alone is great.
@@TheWiseCollector not my first language! firstly you would have to place me in an anglophone nation for more advanced english teaching! secondly that was a year a go let it go 😭
Thanks for the links to my channel in your bio recently. I'm very honoured! 🙇🏻 Just climbed into bed and this was the only thing I'd be listening to tonight. I knew as soon as I saw the thumbnail pop up. So excited... 😂 🗺️
Your videos, the way you speak, your tapping, your breathing, etc give the most fabulous feelings a human being could ever experience. Your one of the very few asmrtists that can put anyone to sleep. Everything about your videos is amazing. Thank you for your pure art, passion and efforts. Please keep it up.
I’ve listened to this episode on his podcast for almost 2 years, I just saw this on video about a week ago and had to have this book, so I bought a first, 4th, and 5th edition of it eBay. It’s an American Historical book that is considered to be culturally relevant for the sake of history. Truly a tremendous book!
Very interesting. I fell asleep a couple times, and replayed this. At about 27:50 I noticed on the map the city of Budweis. Probably the origin of Budweiser. Also, I checked eBay and found this book for sale there.
Bang up job on “ecclesiastical”. Most native speakers can’t even read that word you just sounded that out and boom! Spot on Viscount on the other hand 😜
More of these please. You maintain a very soft voice in these- your other soft spoken ones, you really dont. This is by far the best of the “soft spoken”
I don't know what you do with your sound settings or microphone, but keep those settings as is! I got instant tingles from the intro and thus, I subscribed. Good job!
This is easily my most viewed asmr video, probably slept to this about 200-300 times lol. Hope you make more map reading video like this one and the german stayes (i like them more than map drawing personally)
You make such good, genuine, content. through the past few years you've always been my go-to and I'm so upset you never blew up the way other channels did. It's clear you absolutely enjoy the content you make and the energy it creates is addicting, I hope one day you'll get the credit you deserve!
Crazy how much in the world has changed and it sucks we wont be around to see what the world will look like in hundreds or even thousands of years from now
U just are the male God of ASMR. Im 100% not joking. It's a gift like singing or playing an instrument. U either have it or you don't. U have it lol. I put my headphones on and sometimes don't make it under the covers lol Thanks for your work.
colleen ryan yeah, due to the fact that the Dutch (the ones who were inside Nassau County, which, at the final years renamed, after their liberation from Spain, as the Duchy of Nassau), colonized what we know now as New York and Long Island. So, the government of New York included Nassau County to historically remark the Dutch colonization of the are. These though have nothing in correlation, as Nassau is in the Netherlands (which was last seen in the 1600s as an independent nation) , and Nassau County is in New York, founded in 1776.
Because of you I am finally getting enough rest, I cant thank you enough. For instance today I had a work presentation on equality and thought I would be too tired or seem too boring but last night I slept amazingly due to your videos and relieved all stress I had regarding work, thank you much! You may even be raising people's life expectancies due to you and your videos relieving stress!
+Planet Danimal Thanks, glad to hear you enjoy these 😃 Yeah, I think there will be more videos featuring this atlas coming up in the future 😊 i just love all the maps in this book, they’re all so beautiful.
@@ASMRctica I have an educational background in history, so I'm very into this. I just miss a voice like yours, that's why I gladly check in to watch your content. Tip: I'm of Dutch and Polish descent and especially the territorial changes of Poland through the centuries is a story worth telling ;) (or the conflicts Poland has had with Sweden between 1563 and 1721, which is a link to where you're from).
It's been a long week but now i'm off for a few days and you have this video waiting for me. Thank you for another great video. I think I'll join your patreon after my nap.
Currently watching to help my anxiety due to a very important upcoming doctor visit and it's working like a charm 🙌 But more importantly I wanted to stop and say , CONGRATS ON 50K SUBS!!! 😍
I’ve watched this video multiple times now and I just have to ask: Is that a knitting needle? I’ve tried to stop thinking about it, but I guess I won’t have peace until I know. 😅
+YumYumOnigirl 😂 yes it is! Glad you noticed. I knew that a knitting needle made of metal would be a perfect pointer, but was surprised there weren’t any of those in the stores! They were all made of wood, and I was so disappointed! I searched and searched and finally I found this needle in a thrift store, and I love it, it’s perfect 😊
