Couldn’t recommend Dr. Gibi enough. She has helped with my cranial nerve problems, my orbitals, sense of smell, sense of taste, etc. Will definitely be coming back if i have any other medical issues.
She truly is the best physician I have ever seen, I once went to her and I had almost everything wrong with me that I could have but she got me all patched up in no time.
Yo, I didnt have appendicitis, but super similar issues because of salmonella and fibromas around my gut, and I was in the hospital when this vid dropped. (However, because of the nerve stuff pain meds couldn't help. Not even morphine. Buuuuuuut I also didn't need surgery.) Anywho, I hope you're healing and feeling better! Sending much love ❤️
@@ricolives1166 no way they wouldn’t let her do that lol. In her first video where she does this, linked in her description, she talks about the set and how they have diff ones
For real. How else does she have the pull to use actual hospital facilities to shoot these videos (sometimes)? Why is she so secretive about her actual identity beyond her first name? Doctors can be searched on state websites. There are only so many hospitals in any given metro region. It's entirely plausible
I love listening to the dr and nurse convo at the beginning, there’s always something so soothing being the third person in the room, listening to others speak softly about you without actually engaging with them
I agree!! It feels so cozy to be watching and listening to someone muffled/out of focus. It’s like when you’d fall asleep as a kid and only gets bits and pieces of the things going on around you.
This is next level. Okay? This is..like REAL. I cannot in words describe what an awesome experience this was. It´s almost a form of hyper reality, I am indeed in a hospital room, you are indeed a doctor and I am feeling very taken care of. Almost to the point of being surprised I don´t feel any abdominal pain. The tingles are running amok. You are unique, Gibi!! Always ahead of your game. I am gonna rewatch this sooo many times..
I almost went into full alert when I realized this was like a full on prop room or something bc my brain was trying to figure out how she pulled all this off
Real life, as a doctor, I just have 5-10 minutes to each patient to talk, examine and run the tests. So, I would definitely like to be in that hospital as a doctor!
Normally nurses spend the most time with the patient. Also doctors run their tests/exams quickly in order to see all patients. Grey’s Anatomy also gets that wrong, the doctors on that show spend so much time with patients and it’s like where are all the nurses?!!
I like turn signals too, except my parents cars have a broken turn signal, one on each car. And they're on opposite sides. My mom's car has a broken right turn signal and my dad's car has a broken left turn signal.
I am a medical student and I can see that Gibi studied about appendicitis before making the video. Besides I learned some new things here. Good job Gibi ❤️
@@w.hayesconner1317u really expect someone from medical school to know eveything? Maybe he is in his first or second year. Medical students aren’t encyclopedias
They doooooon’t?!?!” I think I was referring to the notion that the student assumed they were “learning something”, ie, receiving accurate medical information from an ASMR video rather than the obvious, which is, um…. “ASMRtists have no medical degrees! Are you learning something that’s CORRECT, or not?!” 😂
I’m giggling at the idea of gibi tucking a little camera into bed at the hospital. Also I’m so glad she mentioned Madeline! That’s the whole reason I know what an appendix is.
I like that "Call, Don't fall" sticker at the end of the bed. I work in an orthopaedic ward and a surprising number of patients try to get up on their own when they're not supposed to, especially without physio input or HCA assistance
@@peresusjacksonfan On the one hand, it's good to let the Patients try and do things on their own... on the other, the Patients tend to forget that they're not there to be babied, they need to have their recovery paced. I spent a couple of weeks in Lebonheur Hospital in western TN, the only thing I had to look forward to was demanding to be let out of bed and walked around the Hospital. You get so stir crazy in a hospital bed
@@peresusjacksonfan Reminds me of my boyfriend, he also always tried to stand up to kiss me ect in hospital, mind you he was in a wheelchair, I also have a super funny picture of him in his wheelchair smoking while smiling like a dork at the camera, he's an absolute chaotic introvert and I love it.
Being Australian I was really confused about why I needed to know that the ultrasound would be cheaper than the CT scan... then I remembered I'm currently getting my appendix out in an American hospital 😂
The fact that she rented out a whole entire hospital room is just so..... I don't even have words to describe it. If that isn't dedication I don't know what is. I wasn't even aware this channel existed until stumbling upon this video. I immediately subscribed, liked tons of her videos, and watched a lot of them. I personally love her nurse/doctor role plays the most. I also loved The Bee Movie role play. You can tell she really loves doing this and its not like she's not doing it good, she is GREAT at it! Much love, Emily❤
As a student sonographer, this made me realize how perfect sonography would be for asmr! Patients almost always fall asleep on me, it can take up to an hour for long exams, we cover them up with a blanket, and we often talk to the patient or ask them to take deep breaths to improve the picture. LOVE this Gibi!!!
i love how gibi has captions on (and accurate)! i know for some people they're annoying but for me, i cant watch anything without them so I'm able to engage more with the captions on because I'm able to read whats being said. its my adhd lol. its the little things in life that make you happy
I had appendicitis in February and as soon as I was moved to my room after surgery, I grabbed my phone snd earbuds and listened to you Gibi until I was released a couple of days later. Told all the doctors and nurses about asmr. You seriously did help my spoendectomy recovery and I'm grateful.
Gibi, you are incredibly accurate throughout the whole video. The beginning when you come in the room gave me exact flashbacks when I was in the hospital (ICU). Thank you ♡
Just finished watching this and I have to say, first, that as a European I appreciate the "Don't warry I sound American but your insurance covers everything I promise!" in the description, and second and most importantly, this is the most realistic ASMR Medical Roleplay video I've ever watched, the room it was filmed in was perfect, even better than the one from the older video, the viewer's POV, the hospital bed, with even a mannequin under the sheets to act as the viewer's body, all the medical props, the lighting, the dialugues, and last but not least, your great acting skills, everything was amazing, very well done Gibi 😊, you're spoiling us with the Medical Roleplay videos this year.
This is exactly what I needed. I just got my appendix out 2 nights ago and I’m in recovery. It is so painful but this video has made me smile, thank you Gibi 😊
This helps me with getting over my horrible fear of hospitals and doctors I'm still a little scared of watching the vid but gibi is just so soothing and calm it really helps
I'm a doctor who works in government hospital in India. I'm used to chaotic workplaces, so this feels serene. Also, Your depth regarding the subject is really commendable. Kudos to you!
This is awesome. Being an ICU and having just gotten home from 21 days in hospital, this is so detailed! Love the little convo at the beginning n doing stuff in the room. Great job!
Been watching your videos for years and you never fail to stay creative! Also rarely gets mentioned in the comments… but your video and audio quality are INCREDIBLE. Thank you for all you do Gibi🙌🏼❤️
Gosh we need more of these. The small noises as she’s checking everything. The subtle small sounds. Probably my favorite part for some reason idk why. Love this one. Felt like I could have possibly learned something while also getting sleepy. Was done really well
Nooo I always go crazy when feeling weird things in my body.. since my dad had cancer I'm always like: it happens to everyone, could happen to me as well... I don't think this video is for me, Gibi. But I hope many others do get relaxed and tingle away 💖
They gave you pain meds? I had to wait two hours before they would listen to my requests for it and even then it was basically extra strength advil lol
@@ellieharrison9260 yes, I asked for them, I guess something that helped me it’s that my face is very expressive so, they really saw me in pain, but at first they weren’t convinced about appendicitis until they do me some labs
I’ve had 6 brain surgeries, 4 sinus surgeries. 2 shoulder, and a hand. I’ve also got Addisons Disease, which lands me in the hospital every few months. I’ve been hospitalized well over 300 days in the past decade, and I have to say, you are the nicest nurse I’ve ever met! 🤣
I am a medical doctor, and I can say great job with this role play! It was actually quite realistic. I can tell you’ve done your research, so thank you for the dedication you have to your videos 😊
3:17 reminds of the last time I was in the hospital and how relaxing it was to hear nurses walking back and forth, whispering between the doors of each patient's room. This was so spot on and sooo relaxing! 😴💤
As an ITU nurse with blue hair I’m feeling a little attacked by Dr Gibi right now (fully aware that it was probably Daisy but still 😅) this is hella accurate, so much so that I don’t find it relaxing as my work brain has kicked in but Gibi you continue to be amazing!
This would be amazing in VR, so you can look around and stuff maybe a couple hours long, every so often and asmrtist comes in as like a doctor or nurse or even a janitor, and when no one is in the room you just enjoy looking around listening to background noises
The 'problem' with your videos is that I fall asleep before I can like and comment because they are so good. I feel like you deserve more but your audience is just straight up asleep because you do such a great job.
The sound of the Whisper and the attention Dr G gives, accompanied with the sound of the keyboard just gets the tingles every time. Loving these videos.
I come back to this video often and every time I rewatch the ultrasound section over and over. The best 6 or so minutes of ASMR all time for me. The low hum of the machine in the background, the soft speaking, the typing on the keyboard along with the sound of the probe moving... just absolutely chef's kiss.
At this rate, I'm 100% sure that Daisy is a fugitive from the SCP foundation. Trying to blend in with civilization only to pull out her twisted side gradually.
Actually, 0:00 is where it starts - you better watch that sponsor ad, so Gibi can earn some money on it and make more awesome videos for us. You skipping the ad will show in the video's stats and if not enough people watch it, Gibi will get no money from it.
@@Mikos3500 it’s really not that deep bruv I’d assume Gibi doesn’t really matter, the fact you get to enjoy her amazing content already helps push her videos to RU-vid’s algorithm
Ahaha omg my sister and I ALWAYS used to play hospitals with like a plastic bag full of water attached to a microphone stand from the IV drip and all that stuff! My childhood dreams come true!
Dr. Gibi is the MVP would recommend she is my dentist, eye doctor, she did my cranial nerve exam, she helped my when everything was wrong and helped me sleep thanks doc ill be back soon!
Me, looking at my appendectomy surgery scars: Yes, I think I have appendicitis (Haha, love your videos, and very acute with explaining the laparoscopic procedure. Thanks Gibi ❤️)
i had appendicitis february 2022, it’s so very painful, love this rp!! (when having appendicitis you can’t eat until the surgery cause your appendix is on ur stomach, so i couldn’t eat for 26-28 hours, and when having appendicitis if you don’t get the right treatment before it bursts, you have a high chance of dying. please if you ever get appendicitis immediately go to the hospital/er. symptoms: stomach pain (near ur left hip tiny bit above) hard walking because of pain, hard to go to the bathroom because it hurts to push, and huge sharp pains. don’t eat when you do have appendicitis because they do huge surgery. if u ever feel any of those symptoms please oh i beg you go to the er!!! they give amazing treatment, after the surgery they give you as much food as you want, and they always check up on you. amazing service. but like i said, appendicitis IS NOT a joke, you could die or get paralyzed waist down if it bursts cause it is filled with so much fluid as it gets inflamed. appendicitis is not caused by anything, it can happen anywhere, anytime. please please please! dont say you couldn’t have it cause you didn’t do anything to get it, that is false. seek right treatment if you believe you have it, even if you don’t, but you feel you do, please go to the er/hospital. they will check up on you. have a nice night, thank you for reading. 🙌
It ain't part of the stomach. It's a small pouch that hangs off the side of the intestine at mcburneys point. Also the reason why you can't eat before ANY surgery is because if you vomit during surgery, you aren't protecting your airway so you can aspirate and choke on your vomit and suffocate
I would love to see Gibi roleplay the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland (the live action), specifically in the scene where she prepares a portion for Alice. It would be very relaxing
This is so comforting to me...I lost somebody close to me last night and she was like a mother to me. This helped me calm down and feel better. Thank you, Gibi
Being an ICU nurse, and previously a post op nurse. I feel this roleplay, it's great, and Gibi is the nicest Dr I've ever met by far. Love the props, and the realistic room, plus the scrubs 👏 👌 😊😊😊.
Hey Gibi thank you for this. It’s helping me sleep while my dads been in ICU and it’s my birthday today. I never really comment on stuff but I feel the need to because oddly this gives me comfort that hopefully a nurse can be as nice to him as you are to us. Love ya!
I had emergency surgery to get my appendix removed when I was 18yrs old due to appendicitis. This is extremely accurate and so realistic. Great job Gibi! Love your videos 😃
I remember whentry this video first came out, my grandma had just passed and i wasn't sleeping very well thank you for this video i love it very much and it brings me back
When Gibi uploads a long video, and I like Gibi's long videos as they're so soothing and relaxing, I set myself the challenge of trying to get to the end of the video without falling asleep. So far I'm failing. Gibi you are a pro at what you do and thank you.
Surprisingly very relaxing, and I say that because normally a hospital setting is about the furthest thing from relaxing for me so you must be soothing :)
Hey Gibi! I’ve been watching your videos for a couple years now and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me, and many others sleep at night. I have trouble sleeping and your videos help ALOT. Thank you ❤️
Wow, super realistic! 🏥 So comforting. Also, Native deodorant is seriously the best. Especially the coconut vanilla one. It always reminds me of a warm freshly baked cookie🥰 🍪
the lower right part of my tummy hurts, so was just looking up whether i have appendicitis… then came to youtube to watch asmr to relax and forget about the pain… great asmr as usual regardless❤️
Mine did too and it scared me! Turns out it was a hernia cause it never went away lol. A good way to tell if it’s muscular if it stops hurting when you lay downv
I love that you’re waltzing around the room because you can 🥹🙏 How fun and immersive!! I also always read the description box and I’m so sorry about that burst ovarian cyst! I’ve had something similar (no surgery) but it was still SO painful! 🤍
This video reminds both me and my mom of the day I had acute appendicitis when I was 14 years old in my freshman year of high school. This is a true story by the way. Anyway, I had to have surgery for emergency appendicitis myself. Thankfully, my mom was in the hospital to support me the entire time I was recovering from appendicitis. Today, I’m showing this video to her as her birthday present and right away, she’s telling me this video is giving us that flashback.
@@worm4493 I know I didn’t make this video. But my mom and I watched it together on her birthday and she told me Gibi’s video gave her a flashback to the day I had acute appendicitis. I agreed.
