I gotta do a storyyyy- As he lay there beside him, having carefully maneuvered themself to cradle Eric’s head gently near his heart, he couldn’t help smiling sympathetically as Eric slowly relaxed. Eric was so endlessly sweet, and though he had been scared at first when Eric had first taken him here, now he felt he understood. Well, at least a little. He knew he couldn’t begin to comprehend the half of what Eric must have gone through, but he understood enough to know that Eric truly did want to make him happy, and to understand why they came back. And he would help this sweet man in any way he could. Eric had such a beautiful soul he could tell, and as he looked about the room, his eyes landed on the dress Eric had made for him, that was to be his wedding dress.. still laying over the end of the bed… Blushing at the thought, they couldn’t help but notice the shear amount of detail and obvious effort that was so visibly put into each stitch and fold of the garment. And though it was white, the way the embroidery and beadwork melded with each other almost gave it a prismatic shine to it, as if it had so many beautifully blending colors and patterns that the eye alone couldn’t track it. He had thought it beautiful before but.. looking at it like this… they couldn’t help but wonder if… if Eric put this much effort into a simple dress, then what manner of passion and detail and melody and… love… would he have put in his opera..? Oh how he hoped to find out one day. But for now, he was content to lay here. Holding Eric close, smiling and blushing slightly as he felt Eric’s arms move to hold them in his sleep. Kissing tenderly the top of his head, determine to make good on their promise that they’d still be there when Eric woke. Because he would still be there, and he would do his best to help Eric understand just how much he cared for this beautiful soul. The soul in his Eric. A man, never a monster, different, yes. But never less. Not even a minute and and I’m like “are we gonna walk in on him attempting to commit die? ‘What’s the point?’ DO NOT YOU DARE SIR!!!-“ EDIT: “if I’m even human” NOOOOO ERIC STOPIT- STOPIT *NOW* 😭😭😭😭 MY HEAAAAART EDIT 2: HE THINKS HES HALLUCINATING NOOOOO- Eric you sweet man your mind isn’t playing tricks on you!! The fact I've been listening to the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack all day- this is too perfect! Edit: ok so just finished, and hooooolyyyy crap, I'm 2 seconds away from tears. I did have to go back and watch the other two parts, as I realised right as I was about to watch this part that there were two other parts, and holy. Each one had me more emotionally invested than the last. I actually had to pause midway through the second part because I got so overwhelmed with emotions. (Though after a quick stim break, I was right as rain!) I sincerely hope we get a 4th part, because this was f*cking amazing! Awesome work!
