ASMR and Dungeons & Dragons, two of my favorites things in the world brought together by my favourite ASMRtist. What else could I ask of you; you already made a second video at that! I think your descriptions of events are very entertaining and immersive, I might even take notes to improve myself as a DM (we never stop learning how to be more entertaining I believe). Also, when you were searching through the Player's Handbook for the High Elf's spell, you apologized but this is how I the most often feel ASMR : when someone's searching for something while whispering almost inaudible words to himself. That is also how I think I first experienced ASMR, when I was younger. If you took the time to read my comment, thank you very much, what you do is helping so many many people, relieving them of all the stress they have and help them relax. Thank you. BlackRaven003
I love how you've pretty much mastered standard ASMR, and now you're trying out new and experimental stuff while still releasing standard ASMR videos. Keep up the great work Dmitri!
Still my favourite ASMR series that I come back to regularly! I really hope you do another one of these days, I'm always looking for something similar but there's very few 😢
Actually that was not a complete sentence. There was no period. Also, there was no need for the quotations. lol. Also I know you probably don't think it's important for people to know the difference between there, their, and they're but it honestly is. It's such an elementary thing to learn that it baffles me that us complex human being can't learn the simple difference.
I wonder why I find DMing to be so easy. Sure, I have to tell my friends that we can't tame an Elder Green Dragon yet, but besides that, the hardest part is getting snacks for my players and myself. And heck, I'm DMing and playing at the same time. Hey, I don't like putting Kobold Hexblades to waste. For Io!
I bet the party isn't so thrilled to have the Halfling with them. She seems more of a danger to them than to the goblins. : D *aims for the goblin for a sneak attack, rolls a 1, arrows pops out of the bow string to plants itself in the elf's foot* that kind of stuff.
It was very relaxing, just not to many tingles which is totally fine. I always like these videos. Part of me wants to fall back and sleep and part of me wants to keep listening to the story!
This is so perfect! I love the storytelling and I can REALLY relate to this. Please, PLEASE continue the story! Especially some roleplay elements between the characters, not just combat would be fantastic. Maybe a moral decision they argue about, perhaps.
Sasha Vishnevsky He made a special area that is designed to cut out all noise. If you watch someone of his older videos you will see this wasn't always true
Pro tip, different color highlighters for different pieces of equipment speed things up like you wouldn't believe. Even just separating it like I did, simply, really helps, especially with presentation. I used pink for on hand kind of stuff, the things I was wearing or could easily grab, yellow for all of my backpack junk, and purple for my stats and modifiers. And yes, it's nerdy as all get-out. But we played a lot of games where we had a time crunch and needed to really get a rhythm going. Turned a fifty minute fight into a two minute slug fest once we got our heads going. Nerd points! Let them floooooooow!!!!!! :D
I really really liked this video! It wasn't ASMR triggery for me, but it was really fun and relaxing! I love DnD, but don't get to play much right now because of school and family stuff. This video fills that hole for me quite well.
AWESOME! Being still an active player (and DM!) of D&D, this caught me pleasantly by surprise: ASMR D&D! Thanks a bunch for doing this vid, Dimitri! :)
I fell asleep whilst listening to you on the bus and only jumped up as my mobile slipped out my hand haha. You got a deep hypnotic voice ! You're dangerous lol lol. Thanks for this. Great vid!
I miss those tabletop videos with that old desk that you had. Not sure if the table in this video is that same one, but I like those hands on videos. Love this video though, Dmitri!
I actually recently started my first campaign as a DM. My players found put yesterday that they're the four horsemen of the apocalypse, so yeah, think this is going to be an interesting campaign.
Hahaha, just goes to show he has fun doing this stuff. Don't stress out over making this stuff, just as long as you enjoy doing it. That's what I love about your content
Thank you for the inspiration from quite an old-ish video! Gathering friends in three days now and if you don't mind I'm using a similar beginning. wonderful videos now and then
Normally rolling my dice has me anxious, but you made this very relaxing. Though, next time I play I'll need a few extra Mtn.Dews so I won't become entranced with people rolling dice lol. Thanks for this and I hope you continue this series, especially with 3.5 rules.
this is one of my favorite videos. I've watched all the ones of these you've done several times over. I'd love if you did another campaign at some point.
Not 100% sure myself either, but basically, he's looking at the character stats (I think), and with the dice rolls, he's checking to see how the character attacks and such things will work, like, low roll = attack fails or misses, high roll = the attack does a critical hit.... or something alike to that :P
I wish you could created a new set of videos with the famous "white shirt"?? It was literally the one thing that gave me the most amazing tingles & it was what I could come to count on. Just a few thoughts, thank you so much for your dedication. Your amazing!!
Cool idea for a video, and a very nice talk. Once again, great ASMR. Thanks for making this! ^^ Hey, can you maybe do one, like, talk-out-loud type of a video on character desinging?
If a party member fails to prove themselves to whoever is sponsoring the party, what you do is have them slink away and accost the party once they set out ^^
