Pop on your headphones, melt into your chair (or whatever fashion of seating you prefer) and surrender your soul to the wistful sounds of Lukas unboxing the game-changing Segway P65 e-scooter.
Yea, I loved it until they sent the software update that slows the scooter to 19 mph. In new york, it cannot go 24 mph like advertised because of some law… segway makes the choice for you. Sucks big time… feels like bait and switch scheme because you cannot use the scooter to its full potential. They changed that AFTER I bought it and was used to the higher speed. 🤬 I wish I could return it and get a different brand.
Really?!? I have the P100S that goes up to 30mph and I did see an update available via the app but no mention of a slower speed limit. I have ignored it for a while tho. I searched online and didn’t see anything either. Are you sure you don’t just need to activate the red sports mode thru the app?
@parents are evil incarnate Yes. But it doesn’t need to be hacked because the Segway app gives you the option to ride faster. At least in USA. I have the P65 and I use the S mode on red and it runs 25mph. I weigh 248lbs with no problem going uphill.
@@eevees thanks have you had the opportunity to try the p100 model? Is it any better or heavier like it is for sure but is it worth the gap of price between those two?
@@angrybyrzz9511 No problem. And yes! Make sure you're subscribed because we'll be posting a comparison review video very soon. It is heavier and better but it depends on how you'll be using it. For the price, the P65 is a great city commuter. If you want to go further on a charge and have suspension, then the P100s could be a worthy upgrade
I'll stick with my segway GT2 and my MaxG2. I got my GT2 on sale for $2500 and it goes 43.5mph amd has a 56mile range. This only goes 30mph and is $2k?!?!? Ummmm what? The GT1 is the same proce also. The GT2 is the coolest scooter ever and I take it on the trails every day. There's a ton of gopro videos of us riding on my page if anyone is interested in that nerdy crap
dont buy it and dont spent y our money on this scooter . for the same amount of money you can get a better one that runs more than that one and have better suspencion
We have tested a lot of scooters and sure, you can get a cheaper scooter with suspension but the build quality and water resistance is likely subpar. In this industry, you get what you pay for.
