In ASMR, setting and breaking the pattern is a formula theorized by Sir Rafael Tapherino in October of 2016 created in the pursuit of ting tangs.
Here is the first known documentation of the phenomenom:

What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic (tapping/brushing/whispering) and visual stimulation (hand movements/lights/etc)

I think we are watching history in the making. Bob ross was the first "figure" that inspired ASMR. Raphytaphy and his beliefs on ASMR and how to give tingles.(of course there have to be like a "founding team of asmrtists" i just cant think of any rn) Its almost like philosophy. The Art, Practice and Philosophy of ASMR.I would honestly take a college course on ASMR.

This is my favorite trigger. But not many people can do it right. What i find annoying is that you cant watch a video of this trigger to many times, because it takes away the whole point. So with not that many good videos, and not being able to rewatch a video to much, you can see why this trigger is annoying. BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DOOOOO!!!

Breaking the pattern is more tingly for me if you then return to the original pattern. You could also break it again! Could you do patterns with more subtle sounds like fabric smoothing, hair brushing, etc?
