let me know if you want me to do this in December and if you do then give me all the ideas you can so i can make it happen
let me know if you want to see more or any other recommendations for ASMR videos I'd be happy to do.
if you want to support me and help get better equipment the best way is through cash app
$dylanman22. I am currently filming on my phone and would like a camera to film with.
about me personally I've been watching asmr since 2014 and have watched asmr almost every single night ever since and decided to start making content myself as it has helped me sleep with anxiety and panic attacks.

You could try doing gun sounds/tapping while talking about its history, where it was made, what its used for, who makes it, etc. Most of your highest viewed videos are of you showing off your firearms or playing cards, both of which seem decently short and easy to make. Just dont wear yourself out 👍

i like the channel since you were much smaller. I definitely think more varieties of asmr like someone suggested talking about the history of a gun while tapping is a solid idea. Channel name change could do some benefit, and thumbnails for sure. Someone else said being over the top upbeat but tbh at least for me your soft spoken nature is why i fw the channel, but do to ur best judgement

When you look at all the popular asmr channels that are male they are very upbeat and over the top and while that really comes across as corny and fake alot of the time it gets the numbers and it always has in any genre of RU-vid. Just keep being genuine and true to yourself and you will see growth even if it's small.

Been watching ASMR since like 2015 when the community wasn't as saturated. The competition is more fierce now and you have to compete with cleavage in every ASMRtist thumbnail. Your content is A1 already but in my opinion if you put a little more POP in your thumbnails you're going to get more people to click on your videos and they're going to stay for your voice. Think "Matty Tingles"... maybe a gun store background, you holding a rifle, smiling into the camera, bright colors, etc. Just my two cents

I’m so happy you found it useful for your work in this subreddit I really enjoy the work and love your videos on the art side but the fact is you can get the most of your own stuff from a shop that you have a good reputation with so if I were in a shop that was the one you wanted me I could get it to my own place I just didn’t have time and money and the work was so stressful for my job so it wasn’t a great way of life for my work.

That being said a name change might be worth looking into too because it doesn't really stand out. They all use over the top thumbnails too as that's the first thing someone sees before they click on a video.

This comment might sound critical, but I do appreciate your content. I would have thought the main issue is that the algorithm doesn't usually promote 'gun ASMR' and the only youtuber I can offhand think of who does this and is big is Captain Bailey, probably not many others. So doing 30 vids helps your discovery by the algorithm a little bit, but not much, as your gun ASMR content isnt the kind of content the algorithm and the 'big fish donators' like to promote IMHO. I also note that you do whispered voice ASMR, but miss the opportunity to tap enough and scratch on your guns and ammo boxes, if you look at other ASMR creators both gun and non-gun, they do these things. Your gun content is great and fun, but you have to mabye choose to do less of this and do more 'generic ASMR' like Pokemon card unboxings (yawn) to get more clicks and discoverability. You don't need to do a ton of roleplays IMHO, if you look at many other content creators they dont do these commonly and still get big. Of course, you jumped late on the youtube train that doesnt help, as opposed to if you had started a channel 10 years ago when it was much easier. I do recall recently a content creator with 4k subs did a collaboration with some dude who had 80k, and the 4k guy doubled his subs in 2 weeks, this might help you. Also, remember many of your viewers are non-U.S. and live in less 'gun friendly' countries ( I live in the U.K.). I have limited experience with your content and more basic videos on the components of a bullet, scratching and tapping on boxes of bullets, explaining the gun history of the U.S. and even showing basic components of firearms like the 'forward assist' would be more appropriate for viewers like me. It depends if you want to do youtube for fun and don't care about growth, or whether you want to cater to the algorithm's (and some viewers) tastes. Also you might have your business to promote. So a variety of content makes sense (which you already do), but sadly one centered more around tapping on stuff, card unboxings, more basic gun stuff, and a lot less gun ASMR if you want channel growth IMHO, plus the occasional collaboration. Of course you should ask other content creators (and even ones who do similar stuff to yourself), this is logical, I'm not saying I'm an expert but I do (or did) consume a lot of RU-vid content and streaming platform content (again you don't use too many other platforms). I hope you found something in here that helps, I do like your content and rewatch certain videos several times,

Your comment doesn’t come off as critical at all, I appreciate honesty and you gave me a lot of good points here that to be fair i don’t think about so I’m glad to get a different perspective. Right now I don’t make money off of RU-vid and just do it as something fun to do and share things with people. I’m trying to dial back the gun stuff because I feel like I’ve been doing a lot of that recently so I do plan on doing some generic stuff more. Again I really appreciate your comment, thanks!
