As a child, I loved when my hair was being searched for lice or other itchy spots. I was waiting in line in school to be examined (yeah, Soviet schooling!), tingling just from watching other kids being examined, feeling deeply relaxed for the rest of the day after I had my hair examined by the nurse. Or at the hairdressers, I could just watch people have their hair cut and be in bliss. Back then, I thought I was a freak. Nobody really understood when I tried explaining it. Now, I totally embrace it and love watching videos like yours bringing me back to this time. Thank you!

I hate any kind of medical stuff except for ultrasounds ! Love ultrasounds. There quiet and dark and it feels like ur getting tickled by the thing they run over your stomach. And over here they heat up the goop that goes on your tummy so its not freezing cold. Its nice. Plus the ladies that do them here are very kind

Same at first it was all about ASMR kink... like Tingly Voice, PlatinumMagic, getting into the Vampire (f4f) RP, etc.... then one night WhispersRed came into recommends... I tapped on it... I suppose I graduated, but I still rotate, but Emma and ASMR Shortbread are great. The accents are a plus. I dig the deeper vocals... not high pitched and naselly. I dig Emma's nurturing, motherly care.

I actually do have eczema, so I have lots of experience with dermatologist appointments. I came across this video about two weeks ago and ive probably watched it 20 times. So well done, so soothing, and the information and advice she gives for caring for dry skin is all correct. Obviously a lot of research was done before filming this video. One of my personal favorites by far. ☺️😴

A lot of people might indeed love it. But remember that for some it might be a painful topic. Some people can't get pregnant, struggle with fertility problems, can't stay pregnant, have lost a child... It can be triggering to find a video like that when you're just looking for a nice ASMR video to relax.

Stéphanie Smekens I get what you‘re saying, and I definitely agree to some point, but I think if you know you get triggered by such videos, people just must not watch them. You can even find birthing videos on here now. Also, maybe for some, such videos can help with healing from painful experiences? Don‘t know, people would just have to decide themselves.

@@Omenie_ It is different for everyone, so for some it might help to heal. And it's obvious that if you are triggered you shouldn't watch it, but I think that for some it might even be triggering to just see the thumbnail or to know that there is a video that they can't watch. Like imagine if you've been trying to conceive for years, you're looking for some ASMR to relax, you go to your favourite artist (or it just shows up in your subscriptions) and the first video that pops up is one that you can't watch cause it is too painful. Once again, there's that confrontation with something that's a big part of life for many people, something you really want but that might never be for you. It's up to Emma of course to decide if she makes such a video or not. I just wanted to point out that yes, people would love it, but not all people and it is a delicate subject for some.

Stephanie I absolutely get what you’re saying, but I don’t think creators should or could limit themselves because there are topics that people find triggering or uncomfortable. For example there’s plenty of people who have had traumatic experiences in medical situations but medical role plays are super popular! Obviously it’s a very personal experience, but when content is clearly labelled and tagged it is not the creators fault if it causes a negative reaction. If even the mentioning of a topic is triggering to you, you need to take measures to protect yourself (I’m using ‘you’ in a general sense, not you personally). That goes for everything, of course! But as harsh as it may sound, at the end of the day each person is responsible for their own safety and comfort online. ASMRtists are really good at labelling their content so nobody has to watch a video they think they won’t be comfortable with, and asking that they refrain from making videos that a lot of people would benefit from doesn’t feel right to me!
