This video make me look up wtf a Mooncake is, after finding that out I got hungry and tried seeing if I could order some online but they’re pretty pricey... Then it reminded me of Moon Pies and.... long story short I ordered in bulk a box of 170 Moon Pies.

To people who haven’t tried it! (Trust me i’m a Vietnamese I eat like 10 of these every year): -It’s chewy (A fudge like texture) It will melt in your mouth after you chew it for a while -The sweet mooncakes are well, sweet. I love these because they’re just so simple and chewy and good. The matcha fillings are usually the best for me, especially if they have a salted egg yolk in the middle. The outer dough part doesn’t have much flavors, it’s usually the filling that gives it the taste -The savory mooncakes are very nice. They have many fillings like meat, orange peels, osmanthus, pumpkin seeds, lotus paste, salted egg yolk,... These are great. Full of flavors, chewy and kinda juicy, they’re not dry! -The final kind of mooncake is just very sugary. There’s no fillings, just a plain cake. It’s usually white. Very sweet and extremely chewy. I used to love these when I was a child I’m no expert ok just my experience. Mooncakes are SO GOOD

Many years and many Google searches later I couldn't find mooncakes in my country (Wales) so I ordered all the ingredients and utensils to make them myself! My favourite are the snowy moon cakes with the mochi pastry and custard filling, I love those. The white bean paste filling is OK but the red bean was better.

I'm in VietNam. My country made this cake"Moon cake". We ate eat in Autumn. It's our tradition, China also make this cake. It's very good. Popular flavour likes: durian, redbean, blackbean, matcha, greenbean, and special is mixed chicken(sesame, chicken,sausage,..) and its have taro flavour too and many flavour. By myself I loves the mixed chicken flavour most. You should try it😀😀😀😊😊😊

when i lived in bangkok i tried the coffee mooncake from starbucks and it was way too sweet for me, i used to love mooncakes when i was younger and i had them quite a lot in my hometown guangzhou, my sister bought the chocolate one and it was definitely a greater choice since it’s not as sweet as the coffee!
