I used to watch japanese nail painting videos on youtube when I was like 11, im respond a lot to visual hand movements and such with ASMR. would just get all tingly and sleepy so id watch them over and over. Found ASMR later when I was like 16!

I was in 4th grade and my classmate was flipping through a book and whisper reading to herself, it would make me soo sleepy lol

During late 2021, I was struggling with my mental health. Not only anxiety and depression but insomnia as well. Nothing seemed to work. I was browsing RU-vid one day and came across ASMR. I discovered that it helped to calm my mind as well as help me get much needed sleep. I've watched ASMR every single night since then.
