Very soothing. I play this vid every day during my nap. Always sleep to sweeping sounds. A dustpan would have been a little more gentle than a shovel though the clunking wasn't too bad.
I dont know why, but just seeing you sweeping the garden is sooo relaxing... I just love it. Greetings from Spain!! I will make at least a little one at home
Veronique I hope you are well! Hope u decide to make another video as Spring is coming!! They still bring much pease to me in a tough world we live in. Grace and Peace to you. Ancient follower, Kyle
Perhaps once or twice a week. I am retired so plenty of time. It has been stormy this week so there was more rubbish than usual. I actually enjoy it while listening to the news (earphones). The garden doesn't stay perfect for long. Just for film and photos haha. But I accept this. It is called wabi sabi. I see beauty in imperfection.
Hello !! 😉 Where can I buy the broom to remove foliage from gravel? If I would like to ask me, can you tell me the material? Congratulations on the videos, they are my inspiration to do better and better in my self-built Zen garden.
In my experience round grit that is too large doesnt work that well. I tried various grits before I discovered my current fine split. Better to use sand.
your dog is lovely. I can't believe he will stand still for so long. Very calming watching you tend the garden, but why do you want to listen to news while doing that?
Haha. The Dutch morning radio programmes are very good with great interviews. Yes, my dog is really zen, isn't she? I think dogs pick up the vibe of the owner. I love it how Kiki understands where she can and cannot go. And she is a great antidote to cats.
Veronique, there is a stack of square stepping stones upon which sits a bust of Buddha. Do the stones stand up through cooperation (joke), or do you use something like cement? Thank you!
Your garden is so lovely and an inspiration. What did you use for the gravel. I’m toying with using brick sand but wonder if it’s too fine. Would love your feedback. Thanks.
@Veronique it's so beautiful as it is! I tought some petals could reach your garden from outside. I love that you always reply to comments, you're the sweetest 💖
@@usakotsukino5174 That is nice to hear. I wish cherry trees could survive in my garden but I am in a forest and only gravel and moss do well in the darkness of the big oaks. I wouldn't mind cleaning up the blossom leaves. I get a lot of tree stuff on the gravel anyway. But working in the garden and understanding the Buddhist concept that nothing is permanent, makes me happy. Are you Japanese?
@@Kikiyayazengardens unfortunately no, I'm italian. I love the knowledge and deep mind thinking you share 💖 Btw, your garden is perfection 🙇 thank you for let us watching 🙇💖
The pups like whatever, it is odd the pup will only walk the perimeter of the garden, he/she will not walk onto the center square! Does it look like a pool to the pup? And is the pup afraid of falling into the "water"? Pups prob thinking sucker...you do all the work while I meditate! LOL thats a ZEN PUPPY!
@@Kikiyayazengardens actually thats just confusing.. nevermind, my whole joke i tried to do here was you responding: Aw thanks! No I dont have a walking chair. And then I would go: Me neither.. That was supposed to be my joke but now its ruined..
Thanks for changing your shoes. The contrast of the Birks against your skin was distracting. had to watch it muted bc the scratchy broom sounds but very relaxing. Love the raking.
@@Kikiyayazengardens sweeping rocks *'Initially'* seems pointless. It's not though. Your garden is amazing and I'm sure it's satisfying for you, it is for me too :) please take no offense, none was meant. Thanks for the videos!
