@@mewswiftie1392 usually mainly hair spray and gel. Some use mouse too. The main thing is drying the products, so put the gel in to smooth the hair down, then hair spray, dry with hair drier then hair spray again. But when I say hair spray I mean saturate it lol
@@StarTheRU-vidr a ballroom coach is a teacher who teaches usually ballroom & Latin dancing. Ballroom hair is the style of hair that you wear for competitions or shows x
My grandmother used Skin So Soft from Avon. I still use it to this day. It will relax the binders of the glue and then you should be able to comb out your hair without any damage to your hair or skin. Also excellent for removing acrylic nails so wear gloves and use in a spray bottle to apply. Then wrap your hair for 20-30 minutes or when you feel your hair loosen from the style.
A paste with warm water and baking soda, mixed with shampoo can be placed on hair with a plastic cap for an hour, which will help to dissolve products. You will need to wash and condition several times to do this properly. My sister and several friends are cosmetologists and suggest this method with prom and bridal updos.
Just go into shower listen it up with warm water till you can separate with your fingers. Eventually it will be better on scalp skin and you. Till it all is normal. Water will. Dilute it make for easy separation.
I love your fingerwaves your stylist does awesome work! Ask your stylist about antiseptic, it can help remove this product from your hair prior to shampooing.
☹️ I’m just curious. Is this a must on ballroom hair or is it just preference? I will say for me it is satisfying but I just don’t want your hair to be destroyed. Does your hair ever get a break and have time to heal?
I would try the Neutrogena or the target brand body oil. I use it to take off my wax residue and it works amazing. Maybe you can use that as well with all the suggestions you’ve been told saves your skin and hopefully dissolves all of that sticky stuff.❤
Try wetting your hair then, mix shampoo & lots of baking soda in a bowl 🥣...apply generously, work it around your hair adding small amounts if water & more mixture until it loosens up. Then repeat it again when all product is stripped from the hair & follow up with deep conditioning treatments! Always brush from the ends up...but you are never supposed to brush wet hair due to breakage. Hooe this helps😊
1000 % this! These are “finger waves” and need water. The baking soda breaks up the gel and hairspray (you can then get out the Bobby pins etc) then shampoo and condition the hell out of your hair.
As a black woman from the 90's during the fried dyed and laid to the side era, I will honestly tell you you're tearing your hair out from the roots. Slop in half a bottle of conditioner (maybe not that much)and HAIR OIL and put on a tight fitting balloon like plastic cap or your hair will thin out.
I don’t feel bad, she’s doing this to her hair, at the end of the day she’s putting the product in her hair. She took “beauty is pain” a little to seriously
