I don't know about others, but I need this to be a full series 😍 I watched your first one so many times and I was hoping one day you will upload more Japanese lessons 😍
I wonder if Ms. Melissa will come back again soon. I really enjoy the contents and quality of her videos. They're so relaxing thay they significantly help me a lot with my sleeping routine. I hope that Ms. Melissa's gonna keelp this channel running. 👍😊
Very nice videos, and educational as well, besides relaxing! :) But quick question, why did you write the foreign countries in Hiragana? They should be in Katakana, should they not? Just asking to make sure, not trying to be annoying. :))
Great video. Very timely. I hit Tokyo on Nov 4 for a second crack at language immersion after 2020 turned into... well... 2020. This is why I keep getting pulled up on my pronunciation. I honestly can't hear the difference between your two pronunciations of 映画 . As long as I don't confuse ビル with ビール...
That’s great! I hope you have a blast in Japan🇯🇵 Actually, intonation is one of the most important elements in Japanese so maybe I can talk about it in my future video☺️ Having said that even native speakers including myself get it wrong sometimes so don’t pressure yourself too hard with pronunciation!
When “su” is at the end of a sentence, we tend not to enunciate its vowel as clearly as other times. Also, I’m speaking very softly here so that might have attributed to this very weak “su” sound🤔
I watched this so many times now I'm starting to speak Japanese in my own dreams 😂 who ever knew that learning could be so relaxing. Please turn this into a 10 Season series
I need more of theseeee!!! I'd love phrases like "i understand/don't understand", "how do you say x in japanese", and "what does x mean in english." Also things like ordering food, etc. I'd also love if you said the phrases at full speed once or twice after the slower ones, just to hear how they should sound normally!
We are so lucky with all the videos you're posting these days! This will remind me of the time when I (barely) started learning Japanese, in the hope of studying there 😅
@@MelissadoesASMR that's very true! Thank you for your trust in my skills 😂 Though, seriously, Japan is at the top of our list of countries to spend time in with my wife. We'll make it happen in the coming years for sure!
This was great, Melissa. Besides these teaching Japanese videos, it would be great if you did some soft spoken content on Japanese traditions/beliefs. In the bio section of another Japanese channel creator, I saw that they gave their blood type!! Needless to say, this perplexed me, so I politely commented with a question as to why this was. Someone was kind enough to explain to me Japanese Blood Type Personality Theory and it was fascinating.😊. I know that not all Japanese are believers in this, but it was still so interesting. In a poll of Japanese, 99% of the participants knew their blood type!!
Haha that would actually be very interesting! Speaking of blood type, I actually mentioned my blood type in the Japanese version of the Q&A video but not in the English version because it would just be weird for my English speaking friends😂
@@MelissadoesASMR lol. Yes, it would have confused everyone, but once it was explained to me I found it very interesting A few years back, I found out that South Koreans can have three different ages and all of them are valid in different ways, but they are slowly moving towards having only the "international age" which the rest of the world uses. Very interesting
Thank you, Melissa!! Your voice is very soothing and perfect for asmr! I love your Japanese lessons and how you explain grammar!!😍 I discovered your channel because I was looking for Japanese lesson asmr.
Watashi wa Dan desu. Kanada kara kimashita. Melissa ASMR ga suki desu. This was such a fascinating and relaxing video. Perhaps for the next installment we could learn how to ask directions or order food. Then maybe if I ever visit Japan I won't be totally lost (just mostly lost). :P We are so fortunate to have you as our kyoushi, Melissa.
I already knew a few Japanese words, simple everyday words like "hello" (konnichiwa), "thank you" (arigato gozaimashita), "excuse me" (sumamasen)... Your video helps me learn more. I follow you from France, but I speak to you in English because I think it's easier for you. Also I prefer to tell you because my English is not perfect, but i understand very well. Take good care of yourself. See you soon my dear Melissa!
That’s wonderful! I actually studied a little bit of French back in my university days, but have forgotten most of it unfortunately🥲 It would be lovely if I can film a French video in the future!
The pace is bit slow but you really have a beautiful soft voice. If this was like a weekly thing learning 10 or so new phrases, it would be so good content to fall asleep on. Oyasumi.
I bet no other language lesson ASMRist thought of the disclaimer “it is perfectly fine to fall asleep during this class” you knocked out of the ball park with that .
