ASMR - Teaching You Sign Language (ASL) 🤟 Roleplay Conversation 

For anyone who isn't already learning sign language, I have a quote for you, said by Harry Styles in 2013: 'I haven't learnt any languages yet, but I really want to learn sign language. So many people can speak different languages, but if you could make a difference to that one person who can't communicate it would be amazing. I met a girl and her mum in Ireland once and they both signed, and I signed 'thank you' back to them and they couldn't believe it. If someone who was using sign language came to your show or book signing and you could sign back to them, it would be such a good feeling. I think that's much nicer than being able to order steak and chips in French. So the plan is to learn much more sign language as soon as I get chance.' If you're here, there's a pretty big chance you are up for learning sign language already, but this point is why I have challenged myself to learn sign language and I think it could help someone else out there. OMG, 9:52 when you took the pop filter off and articulately whispered “What do you like to do?”, that was the most intense, tingly feeling I’ve ever experienced!

Speaking of languages, we have a phrase in French that says "joindre l'utile à l'agréable" (almost literally "to mix usefulness and pleasure"), and this video is the perfect proof of concept. I've always wanted to learn the basics of sign language.

I was playing along all your sign language videos and i can now say that i know i a little bit sign language, Please do more of these, i find it much easier to learn when your whisper than any other videos on youtube with loud speaking people lmao

I got popcorn confused with fireworks, lol. They use the same fingers, but a different hand motion. I really loved the conversation. It's really what I need for practice. I took a few quarters, like 4 years ago now, but I don't know many people I can sign with, so it's good to just practice conversationally. I think it also helps that it's ASMR style because it's a bit calming, learning a new language can be frustrating and that little bit of extra calm and gentle affirmation is great, it's very relaxed and I find that very helpful.

ok ive a question, asl is american sign language. if you speak english is als the one thats typicaly used for english and maybe a few other languages or is there loads of sign laguage varients. if theres a few sign laguages whats the best to learn. ok well i realised theres a isl for where i live. the one for my country seems awful as theres a difference for male and female. and the facts that its uesless outside of my country
