I just love how sas always brings new different foods and just seems to enjoy everything. Not trying to hate, but most asmrtist/mukbangers dont do that if tou know what i mean And the food looks delicious as ever, i wanna try some of these sweets one day! 🧚‍♀️

probably every thai dessert has a filipino counterpart like the coconut muffin is called "PUTO" topped with either coconut or cheese in our version..the "KALAMAE" is the counterpart of our "KALAMAY-HATI" powdered sticky rice cooked with lots of brown sugarcane/palm sugar and coconut milk...Durian is also famous in us, we have a lot of that here especially in Davao, the "layer cake" is what we called "sapin-sapin" literally the Filipino translation of the dessert, we have pandan, ube and pure coconut flavors of that. The sticky rice is called "BIKO" on us..We dont really have a counterpart for "LUK CHUP" i guess but maybe there is one dessert closely or similar to it that i may not knew.

@@johnmarkrodriguez4834 in Mexico and I’m pretty sure all Spanish-speaking countries, puto means f*ggot (or pr*stitute if said to women) but I understand it means a different thing in the Philippines lol

@@Ale-zs8xu oh really lol puto isnt a swear word here but if you replace the o with an a in the end it is a swear word. (one of of the strongest swear words i believe.) I guess it is normal to have similarities since spain colonized us

OMG!! The kalamae, we call it kalamay in the philippines, sticky rice cake dessert, we serve it with fried coconut meat and sugar, its sooooo good, and aslo the caramel flavoured one is similar to what we call bibingka, a sweet almost chocolate like taste but with coconuts!, its made with sticky rice aswell!!, similarities in asian cuisine is always the best!!

I'm fascinated by all of it, so colorful and do many textures. The durian really fascinates me. I see videos of people reacting so negatively to the smell but you seem to love it. I saw you on the vlog with the big durian fruit display. I do and do not want to try it 😆! Thank you! 💚🌿

The thing that is interesting about thai desert is that there is so many unique textures, colors and shapes. I’ve always found thai desert so pretty and somewhat weird to me 😂. Awesome sounds again Sas! Your Thai desert videos are my fav

The Caramel candy (the wrapped one) I think we have that in the philippines, it is made out of Caramel and its best with Bread/Loafs "Kalamay" from Bohol,Philippines.

I just realized that Thai dessert is very similar with Indonesian dessert. We actually had all those kind of desserts here in Indonesia☺️. - Kalamae, in Indo we call it Dodol - Palm sugar muffin, we call it kue Mangkok - Caramel sticky Rice, we call it Wajik - Purple layer cake, we call it kue Lapis And the wax candy, we call it Kembang gula ☺️☺️🤤🤤🤤
