i see this tiktok 'trend' going around where book lovers do like silent reviews of books they like and i find it so cute and funny. but then i thought, wait this is perfect for ASMR because theres a lot of book sounds and stuff and then i thought of you because i know you love books and asmr.. I know in the last book wrap-up you said you wouldn’t pick up caraval since the last book of once upon a broken heart was disappointing. But personally I love the caraval series a lot more and it does make some things a bit more clear. I also connected with more characters in the series than in once upon a broken heart.
Decided to try A good girls guide to murder and ended up binging the whole series this month. Thanks for the rec! I found Iron Flame to be just a little too long, I definitely didn’t like it as much as the first one. The dragons are the saving grace for me honestly.
I also was in quite the reading slump in November, hopefully December is better ❤📚 I’ve been wanting to read Bright Young Women, this makes me want to more! 👀
I absolutely agree with Iron Flame. I loved Fourth Wing and had high hopes for the second book. I was very disappointed… 😢 buttt I did read your recommendation from awhile back Punk 57 and loveddd it!!! 😊❤ currently reading the book from your last video, Haunting Adeline… we’ll see how it goes lol
Bright Young Women resonated with me so hard. I also went to FSU and had a close friend who was m*rdered by a random man when we were 21. Jessica Knoll did the most beautiful and intelligent telling of this story and everyone should read that book.
I'm not sure if you've read it but if you're looking for a spicy bully romance I would recommend Tryst Six Venom by Penelope Douglas, it's a sapphic bully romance and it's juicy IMO it's not just spice, there's a lot of spice though.
Hate is definitely the worst book in the series, it gets wayyyyy better like if my friend hadn’t read the whole series before me and pressured me to keep going, I would have stopped but it picks up (I just ignore that it’s supposed to be a bully romance and class it more of a dark romance series instead) but I prefer the Hades series by Tate James 100%
thankfully books are more affordable here in the US, but even without purchasing books myself i can still read plenty thru the library, ebooks, audiobooks, etc. there are apps that sync with your library card that let you rent digital books on your phone or kindle! maybe one is available in Canada??
that is a crazy amount for one book!! in the UK I'd say new releases are around £10-15 but I buy secondhand and the average price is probably around £4 per book. maybe you could try shopping secondhand online or find a used book store?? might not be as cheap as here but you could maybe save some money ❤
