I originally had some trailer clips during this review but I couldn't get passed copyright so just sit back, relax, and lets talk BATMAN! Hope you all enjoy!
I wish they added some aspect of jumpscares or more tense scenes that make the audience scared of Batman. They did this in the beginning during the monologue but I wish there was more of it
Me, as a Batman fan, almost cried at the end of the movie because this Bat is represented to perfection. Robert Pattinson is my new favourite Batman from the Movies and this is the best Batman movie by far!
I loved the fact it was more realistic then the other movie's with stuff like the gadgets like how he flies, the charater development was also so amazing
It’s a tough decision between Keaton and Bale as my favorite, but if I had to chose one I’d probably go with Keaton. I think overall he brought so much uniqueness to the character without going overboard with the humor, which I thought was a nice touch. But I believe all of the actors who played Batman deserve praise for bringing such a complex character to life on the screen.
Ahhh I love this movie so much! I think Robert Pattinson might be my favorite Batman. His voice and his aesthetic were perfect!! He’s like a lonely, sad gothic Batman and I loved it so much.
Thank you Ryan for being the person to make me love ASMR before I never really gave it a chance because my freinds think it's weird but I discovered that it's really good for my anxiety so thank you so much for introducing me to a world of relaxation :)
I couldn't even tell Colin Farrell was Penguin till the credits rolled! He played him so well, and I had the EXACT same feeling as you did. I thought to myself at one point, "should I really be liking Penguin as much as I do right now??" His scene with Batman and Gordon was a highlight for me honestly.
I didn’t realize how real it actually is until I heard you say it. The final scene of them sniping in the stadium of people is something that is super realistic in the world we live in today
I must say that Robert Pattinsons Batman is my favorite. I’m a young batman fan. I’m 18 and my only other batman film i’ve seen in theaters (knowing the character of batman) was Ben Affleck. I was so upset with Ben because I felt the core principle of being batman was taken from him. Batman does not kill. I say that Rob is my favorite because while I was watching this movie, all I could think about was how this is MY batman. This it the Batman of my generation. It’s wonderful and makes me excited for what’s to come with the character and universe. Not only is this a good comic book film, this is a great film!
YES! Back at it again for a bangin review. Holy, I adored this film. One of the most well-realized worlds where every set, shot, and directional choice was in service for a story so engrossing I was overwhelmed. Pattinson delivered a performance where his silence spoke a thousand words and might just be my new favorite. This doesn’t just set up a trilogy but an entire universe of possibilities and I’m all there for it!
Gotham being a perpetual shit hole was something I always really struggled with when it came to Batman on screen but this film did it really well! Great video as always 👍🏼
Awesome review !! I don’t watch Batman however I’m an avid Paul Dano fan so I knew this was a must watch. He did amazing as the riddler and I thought Robert did a awesome job as Batman!! I loved all 3 hours and Zoe as cat woman was soooo iconic
this was the BEST dc film i’ve ever seen! i used to prefer marvel but i started watching the show gotham and that got me a LOT more into it that i was so now dc is no.1 in my opinion. it was an amazing film and robert was an incredible batman!!
The batman from the arkham games is my favorite. Kevin Conroy voiced him. He also voiced animated series batman, but his performance in the games is much darker and i love it
My favorite Batman is Robert Pattinson he’s more like a solo job unlike Ben Affleck who always works in a team and I like how Robert Pattinson is always quiet and doing his own work sneakily
I just watched this movie. It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. I love how the Batman was portrayed as a darker and more serious vigilante.
Overall, my favourite Batman is Kevin Conroy. He does so much with just his voice and the voice of Batman is a thing that I always had a problem with. Keaton was was just making his voice a bit deeper, Bale was... yeah, Affleck was ok and Pattinson was not bad at all. But I hear Conroy's voice everytime I think of Batman. Even when I read the comics. Because he doesn't really changes his voice when he's talking as Bruce or Batman. Its different, yes, but its literaly feeling like there are two different men. And the animated series always had more time to make you connect with Bruce as much as posible. My second favourite would be Christian Bale and third Pattinson. Love all of them! Except... you know who... I still have nightmares.
I LOVED this movie! In my opinion I think it was better than the dark knight. Roberts Batman is sooo much better than Christian’s Batman. Batman was so much more violent and scary. He has a way cooler Batman outfit than any other Batman. And don’t even get me started on the riddler, not better than joker but he’s up there with him. my only complaint is that cat women was kinda cringe . *THIS IS ALL MY OPINION*
so basically i watched move… Imax yknow good nice theater right? nope during the car chase scene the speakers blew out…. and i had to watch it… with no audio 😐 got free tickets for any movie at least but like it ruined the whole experience. even heard a guy in the back load of clash of clans
This Batman movie is flawless in my heart. Love it through and through. Have been asking my mom to go see it with me again everyday since I first saw it lol. Michael Keaton will always be my favorite for nostalgia reasons, but this is easily my 2nd favorite Batman movie for certain.
They say the nirvana song used in the movie doesn't fit and they joke around with the song, but it exactly fit's into the dark style, the lyrics fit's into the movie "something in the way" it's like batman is saying something is in the way ( which would be the corrupted people blocking justice )
Thank you Ryan for an amazing ASMR review. I love you, man. ❤️ What an awesome film. Yeah, I think Robert Pattinson is my favorite now. I was on the edge of my seat a lot. I love the darkness of Gotham. So interesting with the corruption stuff and the nightclub scenes were so awesome. The Ridler was amazingly deranged.
i dont know if u mentioned it, but how would you rank it against the dark knight? me personally loved the movie and robert pattinson is the best batman so far, but at the same time i feel like bale was the best bruce i would also give the movie 9.5/10
My favourite is probably Pattinson’s. His feels very realistic for someone who lacked parental figures throughout much of his younger life and also lost them in such a traumatic fashion. Very reclusive and depressed looking. This made his heroic impact on Gotham at the end so much more impactful as he knew his hateful and vengeful outlook on criminals wouldn’t save his city, only courage, mercy, and compassion can.
so i watched it the first say and OMG it was so goooood also btw i love your videos so much keep it up man and alsoooo i think robert was just amazing for the batman🙃
I don’t like to to rank them in terms of who’s the best but I guess S tier: Bale (action and fighting was horrible but his villains made up for it, character was a bit shaky in begins, but knight and rises were strong, but mostly the emotional value was what made it cool though those fight scenes were definitely D tier not hate just facts), Pattinson ( pretty good but need more he’s a bit shaky) A tier: Keaton ( very good and iconic but doesn’t have the replay value or depth as the s tier do B tier : Kilmer ( not much to say) , Afleck ( as a character didn’t have that much development and in his portrayals so far was not very faithful to his roots , killing , mostly a product of Snyder who is a very action heavy and hardcore director he is a good director but I think there needs to be a reason for him to kill) C tier: D tier: E tier: F tier: G tier: H tier: I tier : J tier : Ledger K tier : L tier M tier N tier O tier P tier W tier : X tier whY tier: carrey riddler Z tier : Adam west
Great review, there was only one thing I didn't like about the movie too much, the rest of it I thought was essentially perfect. I wasn't a fan of the way they wrote Falcone, Don Falcone is usually seen as a respectful father of Gotham, someone who certainly wouldn't try to murder someone of their own bloodline, even in self defence, nor someone that would rat out Don Maroni. But obviously, it's a different take on the character, and you can't exactly fault them too much for that, just showed me a version of Falcone that I didn't really need to see. Like I said though, bar that, I thought The Batman was pretty perfect!
Honestly this was a great movie in my opinion it was very Grounded and what I loved more about the movie was they reminded the audience that Batman is also a detective and not just a hero. Him and Gordon working together was a great touch also and again just my opinion how they did the relationship with him and Catwomen in this was pretty decent as well. And Furthermore the Riddler was straight up terrifying in this film he almost gave me Jigsaw Vibes My greatest concern with this movie however is making sure they try to keep the movie grounded as is so then that way they can try and avoid Batmans other villans that have Superpowers would be best i think. Should they continue this films style I think it'd be nice to see Batman take on other villans that won't bring this movie too much into the DC universe if that makes sense??? the Court of Owls in a movie as the main antagonist would be nice i think. Or Mr.freeze, hell bring back Bane if you want to but make him better then before. Honestly Anything that's not Joker or Harley Quinn would be great (mostly Joker I love him an as a villans but I think they do Joker waaayyy too much i think, I get hes the yin to Batmans Yang but still I think it would be a good refresher., and also because Harley is basically a Anti Hero at this point along with Poison Ivy lol)
My favorite batman is probably Lego Batman, I thought his over-dramatic character is funny and how he acts like a child. The VA also helps the performance tremendously. I always loved lego as a kid so i'm somewhat biased.
It beats the dark knight in my opinion. Pattinson was a pretty good Batman, even though I couldn’t help but feel like he didn’t fit the role prior to watching this film. What a unique way to portray the riddler, too, even if he didn’t actually get as much on screen action as he deserved.
I didn't watch any movie of robert Pattinson ever but kinda like him in the batman role and if the talk is about the best batman, for its one and only The Ben Affleck
Just saw it, I thought it was great. I think, not 100% sure, but Robert might be my favorite batman. But still, my favorite batman movie is still the dark knight.
I think the first amazing thing I clocked which made me realise how amazing the acting would be is when the riddler kills the first guy and he’s high on adrenaline he trips over himself he’s kind of all over the place this shows amazing attention to detail since I think that’s how a person would react to there first murder
Ryan you forgot to mention the mystery figure in the scene at the end where the riddler is upset that his plan didn't go the way it was supposed to and then a random prisoner tells him you did so good but we can be better you can tell in that scene when zoom in on the blacked out figure that the character is two face
From the first 15 mins i thought this was gonna be a great movie and it was i thoroughly enjoyed it more than the others it took me back to tim burtons batman and the fact he used his detective skills it was refreshing to see. Colin farrell always kills his performances and was an awesome penguin. Zoe kravitz was great as usual. Now paul dano as riddler, watch there will be blood with daniel day lewis and people will understand how underrated of an actor this man is.
