As a Patriots fan, the two Super Bowl losses to the Eli Manning Giants were pretty crushing. Especially the "18-1" one, I couldn't even sleep after that. After the win against the Seahawks 2 years prior to this, and then this game though... I honestly wasn't even mad the next year when they lost to the Eagles. Just sort of a "oh well, Eagles fans deserve one finally I guess." I ain't even mad about their current struggles. The Patriots could never have a winning season the rest of my life, and it won't really sting just because of this game.
Couldn't believe my eyes. Ever since, I've kind of wanted Atlanta to have another SB shot. But it was exciting. Thought the same thing was going to happen to Philly a year later. I recently discovered Jon Hamm's Skip the Dishes commercials. Give that man a Canadian-themed Halftime show xD
Wherever I found your channel I enjoy seeing when you post a new video! You're a real fan and original. I learn but can fall asleep sometimes too with these 😂, Growing up with a dad from near DC and a New York mother I have been spoiled up front seeing so much good sports. I kindly request to see you do a video about Doug Williams, a former NFL quarterback who was a cast off from the late 70's Buccaneers (look up "0-26 Tampa"). He was the first black qb to get a Super Bowl win and that 1987 season was inspiration for the movie "The Replacements" and Gene Hackman narrated a documentary about them too. The Redskins scored 5 touchdowns in one quarter against a young John Elway and Denver!
Could you by chance do the Eagles vs. Patriots Super Bowl with Nick Foles? As an Eagles fan, the highest scoring Super Bowl to follow up this Super Bowl was awesome! Great video!
My friends who are Pats fans NEVER shut up about this and has even made me be slightly annoyed whenever I see the Falcons on TV haha also I'm glad to be back on RU-vid! was busy for awhile there but can now tune back in to see you :)
Okay, at this point I've got to ask: how much research time for how extensive of notes are you dedicating to making these videos, because every single one is rolling out stats, dates, and stories and that has to be a big task behind the scenes to get everything ready for it to roll smoothly on camera? This is really impressive work.
Let’s gooooo! I remember watching this game with my dad and our tv kept cutting out during the last bit of the 4th and OT. Directv tried to ruin the greatest moment in my Pats fandom
My family and I were watching this game and my little brother gave up on the Pats and went to bed. That's when they started coming back... we made him made him stay upstairs and watch from his room because we thought he was bad luck 😂
Hey Carine! I have a scandal idea for you: The 2002 NFC Wild Card Giants vs 49ers game made famous by a bad snap on a potential game winning field goal and a horrendous non pass interference call
I love these videos! Would you be able to do a video on Rugby? They have some cool scandals like bloodgate and grannygate, amazing family dynasties like the Tuilagi family. Or, maybe even a video giving an overview of the history of the sport!
@@steppedharbor8042 the 58 championship got that nickname because it was the first ever game that millions of people saw on tv and it was the first championship to go to overtime, the 58 championship is considered the greatest because it brought popularity to pro football not because the actual game was good, even tho it was
@@steppedharbor8042 The ice bowl was basically the NFC championship for superbowl 2 / it’s an all time classic but I don’t know if I could put it first just because it isn’t the superbowl/ my personal pick would be 49 because it was a close 4 full quarters of excitement which is why I’m not a huge fan of 51
