In this requested video, I will ramble in a soft-spoken voice (and whisper) about the writing life. When I was attending university in the mid 90s, one of our required readings was Handmaid's Tale. I became a huge a Margaret Atwood fan and read everything after that. Can't believe my professor was so ahead of her time. Love the recommendations, I've read all the same books accept Heather O'Neil. Definitely going to pick up her books now.

Your voice is very relaxing no matter what the subject. I am not a writer but I enjoy reading a great deal. I will certainly check into Heather O'Neil's books & the book about history. Thank you for your lovely and interesting video and for answering my short question. I am from Poland and after my studies I moved from a smaller city to a big one (Warsaw). The opposite of what you did. As the years go by, I regret my decision. I would love to go home if it were possible.
