Yesssss! I hate audiobooks bc every single one I've listened to is read in such a strange tone. Very loud and strong spoken with very little inflection, or pausing when the time is right. They're not reading the story and changing their voice to fit, they just say the words on a page. If anyone knows of good audiobooks pls let me know because honestly I am not impressed from what I've seen.

I love this video, it makes it seem like we know Gibi more than just another internet persona. As a young soul suffering from depression, insomnia, and anxiety, it's hard for me to fall asleep or even get comfortable. But honestly, I've come to, in the most not-weird way possible, consider Gibi as sort of a big sister? If that makes sense? We had an utterly terrifying science teacher that would walk up to you and ask a question, and if you got it wrong or even hesitated, he'd slam his ruler (more like a 1m long graduated piece of wood) on your desk and yell at you like a maniac before asking someone else and then he'd do it again, and again... He was super strict with punctuality and handwriting and grammar and... everything really. He'd give us so many pages of "i'll never do X again" to write our wrists would hurt. One day, a kid's phone rang in class and the teacher took it and told the caller (the kid's mom) to not disturb a class in session and told her it was the last time her kid's phone would ring in class before bad things happened. A week later, the same kid's phone rang. The teacher walked slowly towards him with a sadistic smile. The kid was livid. The teacher took his phone, walked back to his desk, opened the window and threw out the phone. We were on the 3rd floor. The kid was on the verge of tears whispering like "my mom's so gonna kill me !" while everyone else stayed dead silent in fear and incomprehension for the whole class until the bell rang. The teacher opened the window again, grabbed the phone from the outside window cell and gave it back to the kid. He only pretended to throw it out. No phone rang in class for the rest of the year.

MANIAC MAGEE!!!! When you said that you literally unlocked one of the deepest memories in my mind. I had remembered my teacher reading that book to our class at some point in early elementary school and remembered many moments from the book very vividly but had no idea what it was called. Thank you so much, I will be reading this book when I wake up. And yes I know this video is old but I'm so thankful for having this memory unlocked.
