We go back 62 years today and flip through Family Circle on this last day of March 2024! There is a guide to traditional decorating, lovely ladies outfi s with great sketches by Edith Head, and lots of great recipes and food photographs. The ads are all wonderful and colorful (lots of delicious food and one Easter ad for dye!) There is an article on the Thalian Center for Children in California when it was just starting as an organization.

That wallpaper is so special and cool and sadly, someone is going to come in there and rip it down and modernize the whole place most likely. I love a vintage home! And my house had one of those built-in ironing boards until there was a flood that caused a remodel!

I try not to think about what happens to the houses we are in! I too love all the vintage features and this particular house of course had the same family there for decades. I bought a bunch of their greeting cards to each other because they are the most special things ever. I’ll make a video of them ❤️❤️❤️
