A group of 5 friends and myself went to an Italian restaurant once, they gave us free shots of some Italian drink presumably because we spent a lot of money. The great thing was that I was the only person not driving... That was a good night and a seemingly pointless anecdote.

bluesuit Not Talisker? I don’t mind Dalmore but Talisker is seriously the best Scotch I’ve had to date. Aberlour Abunadh is top 5. Ardbeg always a safe choice too...but a glass or dram of Talisker (10 or 18) is like a little slice of heaven.

Eve Rebecca - Have a look at the Trip Advisor reviews, so many people say the same thing. I've been 3 times, more fool me, each time my table has just been left for ages. The bar tenders have attitude, like they are doing you a favour & considering it's a steakhouse, I've had better steaks at my local pub. MPW only licences his name to it, not even sure if he has anything to do with it, other than the odd book signing.
