I’m so happy you’ve stopped by the Soft Woods for some cozy, bookish asmr time. Tonight I am whispering about some books I recently picked up. I read the blurbs, tap and flip through the pages. I also read the titles of the all the cat-punny book titles on the adorable shopping bag I got at the bookstore. Tingly sounds include whispering, page turning, page flipping, brushing, and tapping. Thanks for the video! Wishing you some warmer days soon. I'm also very much a mood reader. I'm getting better at recognizing when a book is not a good fit for my mood or the time of year or whatever else is going on in my life.

I need to learn that skill (matching book purchases to mood/season). I buy far too many books that end up waiting on a shelf for a future mood. And thank you, I wish you a dreamy April 💫💗

I still haven't seen this video in it's entirety, but love what I have caught before falling asleep! Your content and presentation is just superb. And I need to start keeping a list of all your interesting recommendations - thank you for that, too! Edit: I'm a mood reader, too. And I find it easy to be in the "right" mood over any book I'm excited about - especially since I'm not able to read as much as I'd like. I do love when seasons/moods match in real life, buuuut I also enjoy reading books set in fall/winter during my humid Midwest summers 🥵

My 16 year old daughter wants to read “My Year of Rest and Relaxation”. I’ll let her know what you said about it. Love that tote! 😻 Must see if I can get one online.

To see if it's a good fit, you might want to read Jia Tolentino's review of "My Year of . . . " in The New Yorker. I do see that the reusable shopping bag is available online, though you might see it in bookstores too. 😺💖
