I knowww. Hairdressers are always so relaxing to watch, they know exactly what they’re doing (most times) and the way their hands move with such confidence and precision is amazing. My grandmother is a hairdresser and I always loved watching her when I was growing up.

A lot of people are talking about his hand movements, we are taught in cosmetology school to switch the scissors from our fingers to our palm so we are careful with them when combing, so that makes sense you guys like it so much!
The less fingers contact with customer's hair the better it is and looks much more professional. Im still quite shaky at switching between comb and scissors tho . It takes experience and time
But I do like when people touch my hair. I find it relaxing. So I usually go to people in training. Takes them longer to cut my hair and I can enjoy my little ASMR-like session more. (Yep, trainees I encountered usually don't talk much and I prefer it that way).

There are more like this kind of asmr, but without whispering. I knew some good real haircut asmr yt channel, they really help me to overcome my insomnia for the past 3 years.
The best feeling is going to a hairdresser who is so gentle that you can barely feel them working on your hair, it’s so soothing. Back when I had short hair, I actually found the razor they use on the back of the head down near the hair growing close to the neck to be an incredible ASMR trigger, the sensation of it barely grazing/tapping the place where the neck meets the head sends tingles down my spine.
One of my favorite things about this video is that Hwan matched Soy’s level of whispering. Some people tend to be slightly loud, or quietly speaking instead of whispering, but Hwan seems like a natural! 😊
As wonderful as Hwan's skill is, and as nicely set up as Soy's video is, what's extra soothing about this video is the content of their whispered conversation. It feels so cozy watching and hearing people chatting when they're relaxed and enjoying each other's company.💕

This is such an amazing video! I actually work in a hair salon as a receptionist...I have been working there for 2 years now. I have been able to watch many stylist at work. You have definitely found a lovely stylist! Just by watching the way he cuts you can tell he is very talented in what he does. I laughed about the conversation on if he cuts himself while cutting hair! Before working in the salon I always thought stylists never cut themselves and if they did it was super rare...LOL! It happens all the time! My stylists go through bandaids like nothing, totally opened my eyes while working there! I really enjoyed this video, thank you for creating such lovely content! ❤
