To start, these last few weeks have been TOUGH and it's hard to find happiness right now and the story is a bit too long and personal for a RU-vid comment, but your videos always help and I LOVE your rambly whisper videos, they put me at ease. I know you likely won't see this comment at this point but I just wanted to mention a quirk I noticed with my Blue Yeti lately that may have something to do with the issue your new one had. Even though I have an older Yeti I started noticing issues when I used some Logitech software with it at one point. For whatever reason my computer would auto-set the mic input level to the absolute max every time I plugged it in, even if I had lowered it previously (Windows Settings>System>Sound>Blue Yeti>Input Volume, not sure the Mac equivalent location for the setting). This setting was overriding whatever software I used to record as well, so it would sound bad even when lowering the volume elsewhere. In my case I needed to set it around 50 percent and then increase the gain on the mic itself to get the sound I was used to. When set to 100 it had way more white noise and would make my voice sound very distorted. I spent weeks looking for the answer before discovering it was something really simple, so I figured I would mention it here in case that is the issue you or anyone else that sees this may have been experiencing! If it is a bad mic, then I hope the new one they send is better! Love the video as always!

Some unintentional ASMR I’d like to see, would be someone doing math on paper. Scribbling away at equations and taking periodic moments to think, tapping their pen, scratching their head, making slight mouth sounds, humming and hawing, saying some of their incoherent thoughts out loud to themselves. That sort of thing.
