There’s a possibility that if the gain was really high on the mic and the earphones were loud that they might’ve been feeding back. Meaning the sound coming out of the earphones was getting picked up by the mic, amplified and sent back out the earphones and into the mic over and over, usually creating a squeal. Usually would happen if the earphones weren’t in your ear. Or maybe it’s something else.

glad the mic is still okay ! it's a life saver and very much needed so ... 🫣 also if ***IF*** it broke one day... _IF_ how about a kirby themed mic !? with like a kirby looking cover instead of this bland black one !? it would be soooooooooo cuuuuuute plus it won't stand in the way of mic asmr cause you rarely cover your mic with stuff (from what I think) so yeah ! a pink mic would be da best 🤧🩷

For your mic just turn the volume down, plug in, then turn it back up. It’s simple feedback it’s just as you plug it in the noise from you touching it is loud enough in the headphones for the microphone to pick it’s own sound up and then multiply it within milliseconds to create the high pitch squeal. Super easy fix. Hope this helps!
