im starting to wonder if RU-vid has done something on their end, because the channels views & subs are grinding to a slow crawl over the past year and a half.. no matter what type of content i try and all the stuff thats done in the back ground to try and get the vids promoted... nothing,, yet so many mediocre channels are killing it with views, so i dont know.. maybe its me,, and the end is slowly coming...

@@DrT_ASMR I've noticed that a lot of your videos haven't been appearing in my notifications despite me having all notifications enabled for your channel. I only get around half of them. I have to manually visit your channel every once in a while to make sure I didn't miss any. It's really quite odd.

@@DrT_ASMR getting to 500k subs would definitely get you in the asmr roll of things on youtube. Most channels I've seen with lower than 500k havent been very good with views, but those above it have been. It is weird

Hi Dr T!!!! I’m in SHOCK. I’ve always considered myself someone with tingle immunity. I’ve been watching ASMR for about 6 years now and I have never once experienced the tingly sensation everyone talks abt, yet I still love ASMR and the way it relaxes me. HOWEVER, the SECOND those tweezers began in the first frames of the video- I got INSTANT tingles and I’m THRILLED!!!!!! I know you would be the channel to break me

RU-vid is actually stupid. You have a higher quality and dedication to your craft than most of the ASMRists I have seen with double your subscriber count. The fact that I have only just now been recommended this video after exhausting hours and hours of ASMR content, even though I'm subscribed to your channel and always watch your videos through to the end, tells me that RU-vid is killing your videos. 234k views after a full YEAR does not add up.

Doc, I'd kill for an ASMR vid of you running the lathe and the mill to make these parts. I know machines aren't quiet, but if you dropped the levels in post, I think it could make for a satisfying video. Awesome work as always!

@@we-must-live At some point, he did do a non-asmr lathe video if I remember correctly. But a video of Vinny cutting parts would be the best, lol. He would have to do lower the audio, but the visual of sharp lathe tools cutting chips can be very satisfying.

It’s the abu Garcia reel oil that gets me!! From a fisherman who uses reel oil a lot. That stuff is used not inky for fishing. I put that stuff on everything. It’s like my tiny WD-40

Ive got a draw of random scrap metal i find on the pavement and regularly make them into post apocalyptic/Mutoid style jewelly and ornaments. Wearing a bracelet made of nuts,bolts ,and copper studs at the moment 😂
