I could feed and house hundreds of thousands of animals with $750,000 every year. Keep your money. Donate pet food and time to your local shelter.
Seeing all animals suffering is painful to watch. Especially seeing that Yorkie’s pain at 2:20 hits home with me. My wife and I have a Yorkie who is like a daughter to us. These sweet little dogs deserve homes where they are loved tremendously. I hope someone adopted that Yorkie in the video and gave them the loving home they deserve.
People out there. If you own an animal. Always remind your pets how wonderful they are to you. To the ones that don’t treat their animals well. Find it in your heart to respect and care especially love your pets. Abuse is no excuse
I have 4 rescued pets myself but not from the ASPCA but off the streets. All of them were left for death, every time I see this commercial it just angers me and makes me think how could you do this to a pet, that you adopted and wanted to love but instead you just get up and leave them to die. People that do this to animals like this should not have pets at all, if you do not want the pet then give it to the shelter or a friend but don’t just leave your beloved pet like that.
I am a huge animal lover . These ASPCA tear jerk commercials are supposed to make me want to open my wallet. First, Where did the ASPCA obtain these pictures from ?This is important. I was pulling up info a few years back on the salary of the CEO of the ASPCA to find the CEO was driving a Rolls . Really ? Is this where my money goes ? After reviewing the info and track record of this company I decided my money would be placed with an organization such as Friends of Strays , an organization based on volunteers and people dedicated to helping abused animals . Although I am sure much money goes to helping abused animals I have stopped giving to people taking my money and buying expensive personal items with my hard earned cash. Update: .35 cents out of every dollars goes into overhead, the CEO made $800,000 last year.

They play sad songs during these programs to play with your emotions...I recommend you do the same things for the innocent humans being killed, the abused people, men, women and children, those being trafficked, enslaved, organ trafficking, those being raped, etc...until you care more about HUE-MANS...you get NOTHING from me!!
What a sham, only $4% of every dollar goes to these animals and their CEO makes $750,000 plus a salary of $125,000 a year, so even if you decided to be really generous and donate $125,000, it would all go to a CEO, searching dark corners to find these animals? Really? Oh please!
While sad to see animals being treated cruelly is abhorrent and sad. Why in the FUCK are these commercials so god damn long? I get it! These animals need help, donate to us to help them, but COME ON do you need FOUR FUCKING MINUTES to tell us that these animals are in pain and we are horrible people for not donating? If anything, these commercials makes me mute or change the channel to something else until it ends.
It costs THOUSANDS of dollars just to produce the commercial you are watching. And it costs THOUSANDS more just to buy the time it takes to put it on TV. The money you give to them makes this possible. It's a money making scheme. Maybe the camera man should put down the camera and actually do something to help, instead of going on filming these animals in their misery. Is the ASPCA getting anything from me? Heck NO.

Anytime I hear that dramatic and whiny woman's voice, the channel is instantly changed. I watch a lot of old TV shows on Antenna TV on the weekends, and this commerical is EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK, and it lasts for over 60 seconds. I like animals much as the next guy, but the investment and emotional energy some people put into dogs and cats is astounding to me. With the recent fires we had here in California, the well being and concern over people's pets was bigger than the concern over, oh I don't know, actual humans. I can understand the concern over livestock and working animals that people depend on for their livelihood, But If it comes between a dog and a child being rescued from these disasters, I'm sorry, the kid comes first.
This and Shriners hospital spend outrageous amounts of money on commercials. I know Shriners does a lot of good but it is insanity the commercial time spent.
I just recently noticed this commercial. Is Eric vegan? If not he's a hypocrite. what's the difference in dogs and cats and pigs chickens and cow's? Have you seen the conditions that the later animals live in? And you eat them. They are abused too. Meat eaters pay for this to happen. I'm not an animal activist but worse treatment happens to farm animals who then end up on your plates. How do you feel that places like China eat dogs and have markets selling them for the same reason the u.s.a sells farm animals. No pun intended but that's food for thought!!!
First get the bum doing the commercial to do it for FREE instead of getting paid!!!! Then quit making shirts for everyone and spend that money on the animals also!!!! Smdh
