It's a quick slide down Broadway to the top of Hayden. There's no one in front of him as he dives into the fresh powder. Turn after effortless turn takes Greg smoothly down the slope. The only sound is the "shoosh" of the skis as they throw sparkling snow in a white cloud of cold smoke. Not a soul around. Finally, the trail merges onto a groomed Meadows run that runs out to the catwalk, and then a quick hit on Wine Ridge that leads to the bottom of the lift at 9,960'. It's Greg's private ski run. This is how it's meant to be at Aspen Highlands.
