You should try Burnout sometime. Its what inspired mainly Asphalt 7 and 8.

The takedowns ideas came from Burnout. And if you play close attention, 7 is more inspired by Burnout 3, and 8 by Burnout Paradise (specially if you notice the way the cars and camera behave)
