My ears perked up a little at what I heard at 2:25. The kid in the background is saying "If I went out... maybe we could find the door to my mother's garden. If we found the door... we could go inside.". Those line are STRAIGHT from the movie "The Secret Garden"! I love that movie so much. Beautiful movie. Beautiful song.
Ahhhh thank you so much for sharing this!!!!!! I came here hoping I can find the subtitle or something of that vaguely spoken part from this mv; good thing I looked in the comments section!
oooh so interesting, i know this comment was made 6 years ago and you may not reply but if anyone else sees this can you tell me which movie is this quote from? because i think there's 4 different ones and i don't know from what year.
Dyed in daybreak's light Sound asleep, curled Blue bird's first flight Silent world Burnished by Autumn Trees hued in crimson Yet the days darken Now you've gone away Waking from a dream The sun floods her eyes To unravel such a scene Of scarlet splendour Burnished by Autumn Trees hued in crimson Yet the days darken Now you've gone away “If i went out... maybe we could find the door to my mother’s garden” “If we found the door... we could go inside”
feel like i just woke up in a forest near the river smelling scent of lavender while hearing the birds singing. this feels like you're a poet writing a new poetry inspired from nature.

With the heartwarming tone of the music and beautiful lyrics I think she means the best towards you, you have a great partner and wish you two the best! ✌🏻😌
one of the prettiest songs ive ever listened to. Had it on as I was driving into a national park and the mix of this song, the sights, and the smells legit made me tear up. this song is a treasure.
Wow. That was beautiful. I feel like I can write a story about this. And it just confirms my believes that: Yes, Magic Does Exist (even if it's not the wizardly-kind). Not only is their name very unique, but Aspidistrafly's music is one-of-a-kind. If you liked this, you might also like Ferri's "Tomorrow Comes After Today", just as mystical. =)
A nostalgic afternoon in my mind. How can one not appreciate music when it lets you dive into emotions deeper than you can ever wonder. This is truly pure magic!
so,, i’m here from tiktok. this song is overwhelmingly breathtaking, the feeling i get when i listen to this is indescribable. there are so many things you could imaging with this song alone, stargazing with your s/o, walking through a gardens, watching the sunset alone, the list goes on forever and ever.
@@taylorgraham7966 LOL there’s a song by Tomppabeats called “Don’t Leave Me This Way” that samples this song, and at the end of it there’s a girl who says “I don’t love you anymore. goodbye”. Give it a listen
I've loved this song for a long time, but I recently found something. There is a song called "Don't Leave Me This Way" by "Tomppabeats" that is shown to have released in 2016 that sounds as if it samples this song with little but the vocals removed, a short voice over, and a drum beat added. THIS song was released with the album "A Little Fable" on 2011, so I had to ask: Was permission given for that song to sample this one? Is it a Folk song that doesn't fall under any copyright (But even then, they shouldn't sample your own performance)? Or does that artist have ties to your group somehow? I'd love some clarification for my own conscience.
This a such a lovely song, but does anyone have happen to have the lyrics? I have listened to this song on repeat many times, yet I am unable to make out all of the words ( though I still love it).
