At one point in time, people will realise how important it is to revoke FMR and fence the border to safeguard the territorial integrity of Manipur. GOI immediate steps to fencing the border meant GOI know that the illegal immigrants of Burmese kuki as the root cause of this conflict. BJP government's decision to implement ILP, war against drug trafficking and poppy cultivation and also the protection of forest areas is good enough for me to vote BJP for life. Developmental work can take a backseat for the moment because the greatest concern for now is the protection of ancestral land. On the other hand the congress government is responsible for giving Kangpokpi to the kuki. The meitei ignored the importance of this act taking it as a political masterstroke of the CM at that time. Kuki knew the importance of that decision in the fulfilment of their dream to unify all the Kuki areas. That's why they celebrated so hard.
