Great review straight out of the gates. I’ve played around with black tea tincture and it was a top note as it was fleeting. I’m assuming as I don’t have a tea accord creation, that it would consist mostly of top and middle notes. Which is probably why that perfume (I have not smelt) dries down to probably musks pretty quickly. Good to see you start analyzing fragrances 👍🏻. It’s something I enjoy doing and in the process it is helping me learn more about perfumery🙂
Yeah, the Black Tea base I bought stays in the opening of a perfume so like you say it probably has a lot of top notes in its composition. Interesting note. Analysing fragrances has never interested me before but its good to compare your perfumery to others because I think contrast gives you more clarity about your own perfumery.
