I know we didn't get to play as Desmond very much, but the moments we did were awesome. He finally became a Master Assassin and this soundtrack makes you feel unstoppable. Oh the Templars want the apple? Well I'll just deliver it to their doorstep AND KILL EVERYONE IN THEIR HEADQUARTERS! Desmond didn't fuck around in this game lol

Really wished this song played during the whole mission and not just in combat.... be nice to hear more than 10 seconds of it... they save this gem for the end of the damn game and by then you're a fkin Monster in combat. Had to come here to actually appreciate the track.

Theory says that Desmond was supposed to live through the whole entire franchise and have fun modern day quests

Crazy storytelling parallels between Connor and Desmond Haythem = William, fathers at odds with their sons Charles Lee = Vidic Charles Lee is the main driving force behind the rift between Haythem and Connor, leading to Connor ending the former's life The rift between Desmond and William could've very well caused Desmond to not act, leading to Vidic killing William. Charles Lee first meets Connor from a superior position of strength, fully having the power to end Connor's life Vidic is the same, having captured Desmond and siphoning his memories of Altair with Desmond being unable to fight back in any meaningful way Both return fully trained assassins and kill those whom made the mistake of leaving them alive.

Honestly I hope we get an real modern (or better yet future) assassin. I want the franchise to do Sci-fi without the animus "living in the past" baggage at least once. Not going to happen considering the current series momentum but I hope for it.

ubisoft finally made being a modern assassin fun, and then they have you going back to being some schmuck working in an office 😂

The Vidic finale was so stupid. Did he not understand what the apple of eden was capable of? I felt like Ubisoft just rushed his story and especially Desmond's.
