I hate this "remember when" bs .. But it's true, the games are crap now. Can't believe I'm saying this but Valhalla makes Odyssey look like a really good game.
why don't you just a create a new entry to compete with God of War no need to have this BS in assassin's creed...just go back to what made the game great
imagine complaining about historical accuracy when you guys think assassins were absolutely everywhere and there's a company trying to change the past via bluetooth and star wars styled incubators.
Fuck this shit. Valhalla had some decent moments but overall it was a half assed shitty game. I've been playing AC1 recently and it knocks this crap outta the park. No point in asking for remakes, they'll only butcher them.
Did two games of Valhalla and failed on both when it came to the last boss? Bugs stop ending? the fight never ends? Had the same bugs with Reda, got one prize from him then that Server bug kept coming up? Good graphics but bugs and glitches spoil the story, I have all A/C games and Valhalla is the only one I have problems with?
@@MultiEmmey it's just the trailer that looks cool. They spent 40 hours on a 2 minute trailer but sat their ass for 2 minutes on their keyboard writing a 40 hour+ story of the DLC.
The gameplay may or may not be fun, but this is as far away from ''Assassin's Creed'' as you can get. Just do us all a favor and make a Japanese game. Make it Samurai vs Ninjas. Let us choose which hero on which side to choose. Male only btw. None of that female crap politics you keep trying to do
I agree with everything you said except that last ‘male/female’ part. Representation is not only important as a concept, but also from an experience standpoint.
@@orenmoscovici4400 When you’re trying to portray women fighters and lesbianism in a Viking setting for the sake of representation, you’ve gone too far. I want to be able to believe that the events happening are set in a historical setting. Why even use the historical setting in the first place if you’re just going to tweak the society and attitudes of the time to how you want it to be? All that with the Chinese woman in that platformer was chill, Evie in Syndicate was chill, Elise in Unity was chill, because there were women at the time in those societies doing the sort of thing they were doing in game, even if they were outliers they existed, but they’ve driven right off the cliff from representation alongside the product into representation to the detriment of the product.
@@GreenSharder What you’re saying about all those things being “chill” is absolutely right. Recent AC games have gone in the exact opposite direction of what you described as ‘historically accurate’, and that’s why being able to choose the gender absolutely makes sense. It’s no longer about being immersed in a very specific historical scenario, it’s about living your fantasy story (in the fantasy games genre) the way you want to.
I love the audio, music, and the effects and graphics in this trailer but everything else in the actual game compared to these 4 is absolutely the most fodder garbage you can find. Every time I play this game I can't think where the word 'assassins' comes from in 'Assassins creed: valhalla'. Don't tell me it's the hidden blade, that's one element. Oh, and historical accuracy? No, I'm not gonna talk about that.
