In this video, I tell you guys which 5 moments in Assassin's Creed are, for me, the saddest. Of course, a spoiler warning goes without saying. This video is also in my opinion, if you disagree or have more to add then I suggest you familiarise yourself with the comments section. Enjoy!

I admired Ac4's ending. Edward sees the ghosts of everyone he was supposed to enjoy life with realizing how all of them except him had died. But the fact that he accepts that and moves on and focuses on his daughter with Anne Bonny singing in the background made me tear up. Really beautiful and sad at the same time.

Number one is the greatest scene I have ever witnessed in gaming history. That could not have gone anymore perfectly. The meeting of Altairs skeleton, Ezio's speech, the link between the modern era. I miss this Assassins Creed.

Moreover I personally look forward towards the story the game has to offer...and AC revelations had one of the best stories of all times...I don't know why people shit on this...the story telling in this game is just priceless

WarrenJenga exactly...some people don't get it...AC is like a story....I know there's not much difference in gameplay between brotherhood and revelations...bt revelations was the game that really spoke about the assassin brotherhood.... Black flag, Origins etc...are only about the newer gameplay...bt speaks nothing about the assassin brotherhood

I love AC4 the most because even though Benjamin Hornigold betrayed Edward he willingly gave him the information that let him find Laureano Torres in the observatory to return the skull and lock the observatory until a new sage appears. He was still Edward’s friend and the ending was amazing. When you returned to Havana and fought El Tiboron you knew the end was coming. It was such an epic conclusion that is definitely my favorite Assassin’s Creed game.

In my personal opinion, my top saddest moment is a tie between when Mary Read dies (“I’ll be with you, Kenway.” is so bittersweet and I’d kill for even a concept of playing as one of Mary’s descendants) or the little scene when Edward finds out Anne’s child died and those two sit together under the tree to mourn the deaths of all their friends. What can I saw? Black Flag was by far my favorite game.

Blackbeard's death legitimately made 13 year old me depressed for 3 months, but because of him I decided to start reading and looking into the history of piratcy and those who became famous from it, and how it would have been awful to be a real life pirate

I think seeing Desmond die would be amongst my top 3. Maybe not because he was well written, but we'd followed him for what seemed like an eternity. I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, III. We saw him travel the whole world, save his dad, saw him escape from the Templars and we saw him kill his love, Lucy. I think... Really. His life was probably the second saddest.

The ending of Black Flag was a complete surprise to me, I kept saying "One more mission then I'll upgrade my ship and do side activities" then boom, all my friends are dead and I realise that Edwards wife had died and he hadn't seen her in ages. So sad, made me feel empty.

I always get so sad when Connor says: "Goodbye, father" in a dissapointed but calm voice, his grandfather Edward was a ex pirate and assassin, Haytham would've been an assassin if it weren't for the Templars brainwashing him, It's sad because Haytham knows that he took the wrong path and he was truly proud of his son joining the brotherhood.

The saddest part to me about Dorians death was from the other perspective of Shay. For me especially. I didn't know where I was in the story until I saw the kids in that scene in Rogue

I love the modern day story and ezio's speech explains why perfectly. The Modern day story is there to bring that sense of transcendance and meaning to a whole selection of games. Assassin's Creed isnt just about replicating the past but showcase an exceptional individual whose effort truly rang through time molding the present hence why the speech is so emotionally impactful. It's inspirational! Some assassin Creed games don't showcase their actions having major impact in modern day but yes to the other characters which makes it so amazing to begin with for example how ac3, ac unity and rogue are interconnected between themselves. Altair and ezio's relationship. But modern day in present times kinda suck tbh. I'm more pissed about Juno being killed off in comics and no direction on modern day with these games. I enjoy the stand alone stories but what had me going through the games is to see the endgame in modern day. The game will soon become formulaic again and fall apart. I love the AC games but I think they should quit before they shoot themselves on the foot. Even the creators are starting to kinda make timeline errors.

Anyone else here pissed off we couldn't go into a blinding rage after Blackbeards death and slaughter the entire galleons crew 🤔. That would have been Edwards most badass moment just killing them all and taking Blackbeards body to bury in Great Inagua and also hold deep sentimental value only second to the ending.

Haythem Kenway's death wasn't sad, it was rewarding, the proverbial ending to a well read book. Connor is understandable in his revenge, yet people criticize his naïevity. Who doesn't have a little bit of naïevity, especially when you were literally forced to grow up fast. You don't learn any different.

The only sad ones were blackbeard and Christina's deaths. The Ezio and Altair moment was more somber than sad. Haytham we knew from the get go so it wasn't that sad and how could you be sad for Charles when he had 20 seconds of screen time. Zios death, Elises death Achilles death and Kemus death. Those would've been much better. All those brought me to tears
