When I got my first smartphone at age 13 (circa 2012), this was the first video I downloaded. Me and my mates at school watched it almost every day while we were waiting for AC3. Since then, I come back every year. Man, time flies so fast...
Altair is my favorite, no matter what anyone says, he is my favorite, first, he was the original, second, he was honored by Ezio, third, he started it ALL, fourth, even though he had not many weapons, he killed all of his targets without trouble, he is the best, not matter what anyone says
theres a great scene in this game at the end when altair has just sat down on his chair to die and the camera slowly revolves around him to reveal ezio in front of him, its such a powerful moment and it would be excellent if somebody put it in their tribute to the game but nobody has, everybody just seems to add music over trailers or other ppls tributes.
we never knew if Altair got to use those weapons like the second hidden blade, poison, gun etc. For all we know is that Ezio found this documents that would show how to create them.We never knew who did them probably ALTAIR.
The hellequin. Also, this vid is epic. I personally like Altair more than Ezio...but Ezio still epic and awesome. Altair more epic and awesome! Love the vid, love the song, love the game.
Well I started following him on inFamous. But hadn't really followed him after that until Assassins Creed II. I watch more of his playthroughs and such now. I trust his gaming judgement.
"it is an observation of the nature of reality. To say, 'nothing is true', is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say, 'everything is permitted', is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic." Now this is the part where we all say goodbye and move on...thank you Ezio for giving me that experience even though you are not real..
Though call. Altair is disiplined, has been a true assassin his whole, kills first and ask questions later, invented all of the cool weapons and when you descripe him as an angel of death it works well with his personalty. Ezio is charming, skilled and brave with more personalty and some really cool weapons. To though to say it a draw
I dont know yet because in getting AC 2 tomorrow but Ezio looks more like a character that you learn more about but Altair was very much a one line person but a total badass.
Altair is amazing because he was kinda the start of it all! ha but i love them both equally! i think it would b SUPER cool to bring back Altiar tho that would blow my mind!
Ezio had more character. Altair was immediate badass, we got to watch Ezio grow up (kind of) and witness his love life and everything. I think between he and Altair, he's better, but I don't know enough about Desmond yet to decide between them.
Altair is my favorite character, because he only need the hidden blade, a sword, knives and his fists to kill several enemies, and ezio had a pistol, bombs, poison, smoke bombs, and other weapons that was done by Da Vinci
Some people say that Altair is better others Ezio but I've never seen a top comment saying that Ezio is better. You are right guys Assassin's Creed 1 had not only an atmosphere but also a legend assassin and a great story. "Ezio - master assassin" "Altair - a legend" Ps: imo they should have done other AC's about Altair...
My favorite multiplayer character in brotherhood is the courtesan because she can be elegant AND stealthy. For Revelations it's the Gladiator. He's really awesome looking and can be purple(my favorite color ever!!)
Actually an Assassin known as Aquilus came before Altair as a master assassin he was also one of Desmond's links but there was never a game on him but he is mentioned in AC3 in the in-game manual under Desmond's intro saying that Desmond is the descendant of Aquilus Altair Ezio and Connor.Aquilus was alive in the era of the fall of the Western Roman Empire around 200 AD.Aquilus was created by a comic book series one of the French comic ones.Don't believe me look him up.
ezio is amazing. Altair we didnt know that much about. Ezio we saw him live. we saw him love. we saw become the ultimate Assassin and above that become the orders leader. i like altair dont get me wrong just that ezio kinda gets you hooked to him you know.
they said in the story of AC 3 that they were going to turn back the dial on the animus to the first ever civilisations. Mabye these will be the godfathers of the Assassin's Creed...
Altair was profesional assassin, born like one, no family, no feelings. He did what he did like a job, calm, and profesional. Ezio on other hand became an assassin when he wantet vengance for death of his family. He follow his hearth, not his mind, hes more agresive and charismatic.
everyone picks their favourite assassin by depending on there fighting skills and parkour as it seems. What you all really need to look at is what they have done. Altair saved the order and shaped the assassins the way they are today. Ezio discovered altair secrets and put the apple where the templars should never get it. Connor buried a piece of Eden somewhere only Desmond would know it is. In my opinion, Altair is my favourite because he saved the order and is the root of all AC games.
You, Altair and the other two-thousand Altair and Ezio-Accounts did not see that this is not a competition. The generations of Assassins respect each other. They would never fight each other. So do not think who is better.
Where as Altair will always hold a special place in my heart, his game never kept my interest. I don't even remember the basic plot/story line. Where as Ezio has me wrapped around his little finger. I just want Skorch to play faster and put up more of his playthrough so that I can continue with the story line. Ezio wins.
Altair ibn La Ahad - The wise Assassin Master Ezio Auditore da Firenze - The charming Hero Connor Kenway - The dedicated Warrior Desmond Miles - The main Assassin
Guys... Altair was never hit. In AC1, you lost synch if you were hit.. meaning that if you were hit, that would go against what really happened. As in, Altair was never once struck by an enemy. As well, the whole "swimming thing" was a glitch in the Animus 1.0 which was later solved in Rebbeca's Animus 2.0. Ezio is great, but the only reason the Brotherhood and Ezio are around to continue the fight is because Altair saved it from all enemies; Templar and Assassin as well as time.
No contest here: Altair for the badass-ery, and Ezio for his life story. We all love Altair, but face it guys: Assassin's Creed would be boring as fuck without a character as interesting and heroic as Ezio.
