Love how Edward is just casually like "I've been able to see people in yellow and red, through brick walls, since I was age enough to think. I've been able to hear colours all my life. But I never thought to mention it"
It’s very fitting for his character. “You have the sense? Edward, most men with that sense spend years learning how!” “Cool . . . Anyway as I was sayi-“
You never would. You don't even know if you have a super sense or power others don't. Maybe you can hear very low/high tones. Maybe you can taste things differently. We're all told at a young age what colors are what name, but what if my green is your pink? We can never REALLY know how other people are perceiving reality..
@@VisionsOfSpy you have no idea what others see. Regardless of what wavelength is measured, doesn't mean me and you see it the same. For all you know, I am just a figment of imagination..
@@alexanderwamsley5846 Ya you just click the eagle vision button n all the enemies will be highlighted in red, if you have to kill a captain or the officers they’ll be highlighted in gold it’s how i’ve always done it
Playing on Switch you can actually move the controllers around like you’re holding the gun itself. That combined with eagle vision and you can take out all the enemies before even boarding a lot of times.
Also, while doing that, don't aim for the people, aim for the ground between them or for the explosive barrels, you can get like 10 kills that way, and you can skip using them if you are boarding a man-o-war the ship is too high most of the time.
In the beginning when Duncan tries to shoot Edward, the pistol doesn't jam, I believe the gunpowder is wet a.k.a. no ignition. I'm guessing the powder dries incredibly fast for some reason when you're chasing him.:)
I honestly doubt this is the case, but maybe he was able to change it while we were chasing him. Again, I highly doubt it cause he was running and climbing, but maybe the powder in the barrel was dry and just had to put powder in the tray.
Damnn 2 hrs and not died once....nice bro..no doubt one of the best pirate games I have played in my life..completed it like 3 times Edit:- I have never got so many likes thanks everyone
@@fire-typhoon123 Bro playing a game 3 times upto 100% completion seems a rookie no to you..bro you must have all the time in the world but unfortunately I don't have sorry..really enjoyed playing it thrice..but my college has started and currently I don't have time
No way I just sat down for dinner and saw this, 2 hours what a treat! I feel that ACBF nailed pretty much anything, story, characters arc, tone, music, colors, just listening to that opening music brings back memories
Stede Bonnet's real life story is actually incredible to hear. He's a man that never should've been a pirate. He was a well-off, family man who dropped everything and left his family behind to chase after his dream of being the greatest pirate ever known, without knowing the first thing about being a pirate. He was known as the "Gentleman Pirate" for his proclivity not to kill, being well-spoken, and kind, and for treating his crew fairly and even giving them wages. You should absolutely watch the Internet Historian video on him if you haven't. It's hilarious, and a great watch
Love how the game made it seem like Julien was this skilled assassin hunter, having claimed trophies from all the brothers and sisters of the creed….. and he is the first Templar killed
AC black flag and elder scrolls V skyrim are and will always be my favorite games of all time, the way they’re classic and and age so well, the rich storyline and characters, and the cherry on top of black flag is the freedom of piracy (as a One Piece fan that’s just priceless)
Thank you! I've been replaying all the games and making reviews on them. The last one I did was Unity, so once I replay and review Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, I'll make a ranking video!
@@braxton5793I’m a fan of the ezio games. Black flag is a very good game just not enough assassin in it for it to truly be an assassins creed game. More of a pirate game with ac elements🤷🏽♂️ great pirate game tho
The newer ac games were pretty good origins being my fav odyssey was fun but valhalla was my 3rd fav and my all time favourite ac game was brotherhood rogue was awsome and black flag was just not my cup of tea syndicate was bad unity was fun ac2 was good ac1 was awsome ac3 was gr8t the last ezio ac game was pretty good aswell
Im guessing what happened at first with duncan and the pistol is, the powder was wet from swimming to the beach, so as he ran from edward, he reloaded his shot and drying his pistol in the process…
@@Xeno574 naval combat wasn't really challenging, it's just that you're basically underleveled in certain cases and you can't really do anything about it. I remember trying to defeat all legendary ships pretty early in the game and i managed to do it with some of them but with others that had mortars i just couldn't because no matter how much i tried to avoid their shots, 2 or 3 would basically kill me and when you're trying to stay back and fire from long rage to avoid coming in close because you'll get demolished you just can't rely on the damage you'll be able to do.
Definitely one of the better ac games, it's a disappointment how ubisoft does not express their earlier titles enough considering how they were the ones that flourished this company into what it is known as today.
The fifth time I go through this game to 100% it, I hope you know I'll remember Random Guard #23 and his lore and revisit this video. What a touching story.
Definitely one of my favorite AC games, though I think we can all agree that it could have benefited from difficulty options, since the combat is pretty easy most of the time.
i’m a little late, but Neptune is the Roman god of the sea. It’s the same god as Poseidon but Roman. So them saying that they escaped Neptune is saying they survived a strong storm with waves and stuff.
i remember how on Christmas my parents got me a ac black flag collectible edition and i was really hyped even tho i was like 10 back then. I was playing this game over and over as a kid and even years later i was still playing singleplayer with multiplayer. I would love to go back in time to experience this once more. I was heartbroken when i discovered that multiplayer was gone and i cannot play it anymore.
Being almost halfway through AC4 black flag and watching this video feels so good. I loved seeing the start and introduction to Adéwale again. Adéwale is my favourite AC character, though I haven't played freedom cry yet, so I should probably do that first
feel like the only reason we havent gotten a black flag remaster is because skull n bones is still in production. I could see them doing the ezio games right after skull, then black flag in like 5-8 years
Hey master assassin I'm rank assassin in unity and I'm 98% complete thanks to you I've gotten back I to assassin's Creed after years of not playing keep up the amazing content
Jacob does have 2 blades, when you kill Lord Cardigan he uses 2 hidden blades to cut his throat. Dunno about Evie, but it's safe to assume she also has 2 blades.
*scrolls down carefully to not get spoiled as I haven't watched the video yet* YES!! one of the best AC games and 2 freaking hours? bring it on!! Love this video series
You know its funny on my first playthrough of Black Flag I never used Brace in the naval fights until the Legendary ships they taught me the importance of perserving your armor level specifically Brothers in arms, alot of people say that the El Impoluto is the hardest because of its deadly ram but tbh that one only took 2 attempts, for whatever reason the dual Man-of Wars was the bane of my sanity took me over 30 attempts before sunk both of them. All that said I really feel like Rogue does Legendary ships better since in that one its usually a massive sea battle and the game is nice enough to give you a couple support ships to help you out or at the very least draw their fire for a time though I know no one who can hears the name "Storm Fortress" and doesnt suffer some kind of PTSD. XD
I've wanted them to remaster this game for years!! More and more every year especially since the game engines and graphics keep getting better and better! Imagine how beautiful this game could look if they remade it!
Regarding the amount of hidden blades Arno and the Frye twins have, Arno has one, the Frye twins or Jacob, at least, has two. During the unique kill where Jacob says balaclava to enter a room (forgot the name of the mission), he kills the guy who opens the door with his right arm, not his left where the gauntlet is visible, then uses both to kill the main guy
Fun fact I made a character that's a decent of Duncan Walpole however she's a templar that tackles an assassin named Valerie and Valerie pulls a Bayek slicing off her finger but killing the attacker. And I have a Kenway descendant and she is a templar that is Valerie's rival valerie end up killing her in a burning castle caused by a raid
i was sitting here listening to edward thinking "why does he sound so familar" i realized once you said matt ryan hes voiced by fuckin constantine and hes not even like doing a voice its just constantine's voice lmao
I think the reason why Arno didn’t have a corridor scene was bc he hadn’t mastered his eagle vision until the end of the game since he could only use it for a limited time where as the other assassins had corridor scenes cause they knew how to use it and when focused could use it until they sprint
From the first time I saw the hunters, I knew they would be your biggest threat. I remember not respecting them, and how they very quickly made me rush Hull Strength
I still remember playing Black Flag back when I was still a kid (15 now) and I still remember everything about it. But since I was a kid I couldn't exactly experience it with a "mature" mind so if I have the chance to play Black Flag again, or any AC game tbh I'd definitely take the chance.
fact , if you equip a sword , during close assasinations edward will use the hidden blade ( during stealth ). So you don't have to switch it all the time
For your question with the water tornado, it is a thing in Rogue as well but far less prevalent, I've only had it once during a stormy weather in North Atlantic over my 100+ hours play time. In Black Flag I think it is scripted for one of the Forts, when you enter that area the weather is set to storm and there are water spouts around the Fort itself (correct me if I'm wrong)
@@michaeltaylor815 No problem. Also I think the waterspouts in Black Flag can be spotted in free roam storms too in the south area where the stronger ships are located. I'm not sure about it but I think I've encountered some outside the missions too.
You talked about wanting a stand alone game for Adewale i think the closest we ever going to get is the add-on Assassin's creed: Freedom Cry for black flag that is about Adewale. Btw i love the content you are making keep going 👑
Just to answer a question at the beginning on why dunkin didn’t use his other pistol on Edward when he was dead to right was because the powder got wet so it wouldn’t shoot but the the powder dried he could shoot his other
I would personally love it if ubisoft just remastered all the old games! Starting at the first game and giving it a modern update with fighting and parkour and moving through to rogue. I woild buy all of them again and replay them with the new look and feel and they would make a ton of money
1:10:40 the city is actually Montreal and it's pretty accurate in its look. the place the building is situated is where the Olympic Stadium would be in real life. so Abstergo really be the good guy by getting us rid of it
I just replayed this too. Forgot how good it was. I still think the Ezio Trilogy and AC Origins are the best but Black flag for me is just under those two.
You said somewhere in the video you want to maybe climb the ranks of pirates, i wouldn't. it's been glitched and modded so its impossible to do legit. Theres one rank for assassinations, one for piracy (ship kills) and one for privateering (money gained) do correct me if im wrong anyone. Amazing video too, poor guard #23
