Assassin's Creed Black Flag is 10 YEARS OLD... 

a pirate game made by rockstar would definitely go hard

Nothing emotionally crippled me more this series than the simple shot of the pirates at the end of the game with Bonny singing. The concept of losing friends and "moving on" is so deeply human and intrinsic to life that its no wonder why the scene struck such a cord with pretty much everyone.

I’m replaying all the games, and currently I’m on black flag. Holy cow I forgot how good this game is. Some of the most fun gameplay and role playing in the series

Black Flag needs a sequel game more than a remake. Would be great to see Edward's life as an assassin.

Honestly to this day the ending brings a tear. Following his story and life and all he wanted was to support his family and to be able to do that and realise what he sacrificed for it made me cut some onions

Fun Fact: The guy who voiced Edward Kenway in this game went on to play John Constantine on CW's Flash and other DC related shows. And has proven to be a great actor.

Played Freedom Cry for the first time a few months ago. Black Flag was an awesome game.

Just got the platinum for black flag few days ago and had a good time again with the game even after my 6th playthrough. Happy 10 year anniversary🎉❤

I would love for the remake to include a DLC in which we discover Edward's memories after the events of BF. Like when he's an actual assassin. They could proposedly make it a 3 part DLC: about his first years as an assassin, the (re)establishment of the order in London with him as master assassin and mentor, and lastly a dlc in which we experience his fatherhood with Haytham and his eventual death.

I have a tradition to always start a new Black Flag save at the start of summer every year. It's my favourite game to play from the AC series when it comes to setting good vibes. The story feels like you are actually taking part in an adventure, the Open World is very immersive with all the different enviroments of the West Indies and the ship mechanics are really fun to mess around with.

This game never fails to make me smile. Happy birthday Black Flag, and thank you.

just replayed this game and it was a lot shorter than I remembered, I thought I was around the halfway point when the credits started rolling :( Fantastic game though, still one of my favorite games

I've always been a defender of the Desmond segments and I enjoyed his story, but that being said I really enjoyed AC4 and Rogue's modern day story. Getting to see the detailed inner workings of an Abstergo operation and, in the case of AC4, becoming an inside man of sorts was very interesting.

This is such a masterpiece and when i explain to my friends about black flag and show them footage of this, they cant believe its this old. Beautiful masterpiece.

When it comes to pirate games, you should check out Sid Meier's Pirates. It's a brilliant game about pirates and it's almost 20 years old. I played it in like 2007 or so and it was amazing. It can catch you for a lot of hours because it's quite addicting to see yourself grow in the rank of the most dangerous pirates.

Happy Birthday Black Flag! I love this game. It was my very 1st AC game and it´s still my favourite one. Then my save file corrupted and and I lost my 96% save. I was mad but I played it again and I am now at 98% of total synch.

this was the first game from the ac franchise that i ever played and bought. it shocks me how quick 10 years has gone. it makes me sad, but it makes me happy knowing i played this game at its peak. this game will forever have a place in my heart

The first ac game I actually purchased for myself when it came out as I got 1 and 2 as a gift. Brought brotherhood and revelations preowned and borrowed ac3 from a family friend. So this still holds such a special place in my heart.

I just binge played all of Assasins Creed and Black Flag was one of my favorites! Being a pirate and an assassin? Sign me up! Abstergo storyline was pretty bad tho that was its only flaw. I like how they connect AC 3 AC 4 and even Rogue, and Unity as well that’s neat!

Excited for black flag remake.

It's crazy that Black Flag is 10 years old. It was my first PS4 game and I remember it was delivered a week before the PS4 came out. I had to just look at the game for a week before I could play it. I loved the game and it's one of my favorite AC games. It released during a bad time for me though. Had a bad health emergency and had to keep going to the hosptial over the course of a month. I kept getting released for a day or two and then having to go back since things kept happening. I got to play AC4 for those times in between hosptial stays. Having such a great game did make it a bit easier to cope though. Luckily it got sorted out shorty after but still....that's the memory I have tied to this game.

The thing i love about black flag is that it works both as an Assassins Creed and a Pirate games unlike other games in the series. This is genuinely the only game in the series where almost everyone can agree its good.

I really love this game. It's number 2 on my personal list of favorite games from this franchise. Partly because I simply enjoyed going out and pirating around for no reason because it's fun.

My Favorite Assassin's Creed Game ❤️

Things I’d like to see for the remake: •Edward’s hair being loose like the game art. It fits his rough demeanor better. •Less tailing missions. A couple every now and then is fine but 40% of the game being railing missions is ridiculous. •Duncan should have a prominent role other than some “master” assassin you kill in one combo. •Edward should have his initial “mysterious” personality that Blackbeard talks about •Slavery and racism should be more overt and less subtle. Mafia 3 didn’t hold back at all, Ubisoft shouldn’t either.

I first played this game on PS3 but never beat it because my dumbass barely upgraded my ship and I got stuck and it pissed me off so I started just focusing on the multiplayer, I came back to it like 3 years later on PS4 and actually took my time that time and I finally understood why people considered one of if not the best game in the series, such a fantastic adventure that I wish I could experience for the first time again.

the only thing i hate about this game is how overpowered you are and will never die on foot or when boarding. I like that the new ac games feel more mortal due to rpg elements. But the naval battles, hoo boy getting blown away by a big ship and humbled made me grind and nothing is more satisfying than equipping ya girl with the largest cannons and hull armor.

I get emotional whenever i get reminded of AC4 My life is incomplete without this Hell of a Masterpiece

And to think in a few years, the OG Assassin's Creed will be 20! How time really flies.

The only changes I want in the blag flag remake are: Take out the entire modern day portion, any bugs that halt progress, and fix the free run

Crazy, back then almost every new game had super updated graphics like year after year drastic improvement, then you get to 2023.. this is back when games were games, was during the slipnslide of finding new ways to monetize every part of the experience
