THIS IS NOT FAIR! I have the money and I've been saving up for about a month, but I want the PC version, my PC is a monster and I don't like console gaming. I also don't feel like buying a console only for one game; and PC version is coming out on Feb 22, 2011. Gaming originated from PCs so Ubisoft, and other developers, stop treating PC gamers like this! First DRM, now this! PC gamers, thumbs up if you want PC release in November 2010, NOT February 2011!
The one thing about Leonardo's designs, was that they were designed to be flawed. Leonardo was fascinated with war, but never approved of it. He made war machines, but he made the blueprints flawed in some way. That way, if anyone managed to steal his ideas, they would not be able to use it. @kaulitzforlife Defenitly ACB!!! I have both games so i can tell:D RDR is a great game no offense but after some time it gets repetitive. In ACB there are like a milion things to do. Upgrading your assasins, tons of sidequest's, unlockable outfits, Virtual training, buy property and a lot more!! The Story is Epic. Rome is Huge.
@KiDBEAST443 The single player? Well If you do every single side mission, and another 7 piece sequence and also get your assassins to assassins rank, take out the borgia towers plus the actual storymissions 25+ hours and i still haven't complete it fully yet, also if you have a ps3 you can download the extra dlc for free and get extra 2 hours or so. ( sorry for spelling and everything but I'm in a rush.) Hope it helped.
@AholicX Well depending on what you do like, doing everysingle side mission, view point and borgia tower like ezio did in the past. And etc it took me 25+ but if your new to it may be longer or faster no less than 20 hours for sure. extremely pleasing game a fantastic storyline and amazing twists it worth every penny i spent on the LC Edition and also if U got Ps3 with internenet download the dlc free, and u'll get about an extra 2 hours or so. hope this helped. :)
I'm guessing that at the end of the game,desmond stabs lucy,falls unconcious and losing all of his memories,shaun and rebecca grab the apple and escape to the assassins.This is the part explaining the voices at the end of the credits.Abstergo finds desmond and puts him back to the animus to explore his lost memories to find out who took the apple,desmond gets shocked at seeing what he did back at the vault with lucy.
Just going to make a random guess here...but the weird, hologram/god lady who was guiding you at the end, spoke of a woman who would guide desmond. does anybody remember that woman from Assasins Creed 2? the one Altair was creeping up on?..and then made out...because they can i guess... long guess here. but maybe the woman who's going to guide you is the descendent of that woman..then again it is late and im tired so dont rage me if its a silly idea.
@CLZJamie its an interesting though. i imagine the MAIN segment of the game will focus on desmond and his quest to find the temples.. (cause....y'know...the game is one huge 2012 reference..)....(im joking ubisoft...dont hurt me) but i imagine that there will also be parts in the next game where your experiencing some of your ancestors memories. just because playing in those Medieval landscapes were just too rich and too detailed to lose. as for the men at the end...i dont know? friends maybe?
@galion1991 About cost 1) Thats Australian dollars right, only the first model PS3 and a few failed 90s consoles got up around 500 dollars, usually its half that much. 2) So, if I spend around 300 dollars on a device that can play games, and around 300 dollars for a device that can do everything else (netbook), that adds up to 600 dollars, which is still less than what the basic hardware would cost for a gaming PC nowadays. And the games are only marginally cheaper on PC.
@Atapapark Have you played video games on Computers? I've played both Bad Company 2 and MW2 on consoles and pc's, and the graphics, if turned up to full, are better on the PC. Of course, the PC would cost like, $1,000 , but it can still perform better then a console, and perform more tasks. @everybody else I really dont care how old you people are, you're all acting like children.
@ithinkmynameisralf 1. Computers are far more flexible 2. Excuse me if I don't wanna spend ~500$ on a machine that can ONLY play games, then another 50-100 on each game. 3. Some of the best games (e.g. Blizzard Games) don't come out on consoles at all, and others (e.g. Dragon Age) are better played on computers. 4. Finally, I don't have to pay to MS or Sony for an account to play multiplayer, just the net provider. you need both.
@TheMiniAssasin I have only completed a little bit of the game but the graphics are great, the story is interesting, and the gameplay is flat out excellent. Trust me the new combo strings add way more fun into fighting. Also, why do I (I'm American sadly) get the game before Europe if the game takes place in Europe hahaha. Still, it's a great game and worth the many months I had to wait.
I find it funny how people just plainly say this game is better than Black Ops, first of all people, Black Ops is a first-person shooter game, AC series is not... Both games are GREAT in their respective Genre.Sure story-wise, this game is better written, (i can't judge that yet since i haven't played ACB)but comparing AC 2 to Modern Warfare 2's story, of course AC 2 had a better story, now they give us ACB to conclude that story..just enjoy the games without considering their wide differences
@ironmaiden93ofangmar Brotherhood. Get it. I rented TFU II and regretted it. Short campaign, same enemies throughout, boring boss battles, and only three planets, and you spend a max of 10 minutes on Dagobah. The others are Kamino and Cato Nemoidia, with a ship in between the two. I haven't played Brotherhood yet and I know that it is better than TFU II. I feel like getting the first TFU to get the bad taste of the second one out out of my mouth.

@dearteking1 Level 50 isn't hard to get at all, leveling isn't hard at all as long as you're actually skilled enough to be within the top 3 scores every time you play a game then it's piss easy, I luckily am most of the time 1st. Also I have a perfectly lovely life in my opinion, thank you for commenting upon it. Perhaps you need a life instead of trolling RU-vid?

I hate how the video game trailer looks like a video game trailer. i mean, the war machine stuff was sped up, the leap of faith was sped up.. god it looked like a halo trailer. Assassin's creed is much more unique and amazing to have the same type of trailer. thumbs up if you were thinking the same thing.

She and Altair got their freak on on top of the tower and then the memory stopped following Altair after he jumped from the tower and stayed with the lady (who's name is Maria, btw, and she's the templar woman who pretended to be Robert De Sable in AC1 at the funeral). @Atapapark Yes, flexible. I can add memory/hardware to my PC without paying for an entirely new console. I can customize my controls so I can control my games exactly how I want to, on a controller (mouse+keyboard) that has much more options then a console controller. And no, consoles DON'T have better graphics then computers.
@naramsin11 GT5 is best racing drive game. Controls and graphics. I heard it was hard to get custom themes on xbox. Online doesnt suck thats totaly a xbox fanboy standard, only sucks if youre internet sucks. nothing else. Xbox does scratch discs search youtube. Stronger colours arent better graphics we can do the same and with a setting to full xbox sucks
i think chezare takes the other hidden blade (or in his case steel it) cause notice how wen he says 'YOU DIIIIIIIEEEEE' he pulls out his arm and points it to his neck in way similar to how ezio assassinates people with the hidden blade and maybe thats how ezio may die ; while he tries to assassinate chazare with his blade ,chazare may kill him with his own blade
@HelghanSpartan well i think he means that he is going to make rome a good place.because in the game rome is messed up.Its full of theves,murderers,whores and all those thins,and its thanks to the Borgia so i think that he is goin to finally kill rodrigo and cesare and ultimately make rome a good place
@jammybob1321 Only some of the heavy weapons have that as an option. It's the alternate attack, which is pulled off by holding the attack button. If you want a treat, get in close to a group of guards in combat, and hold the attack button with a spear. You may like what happens.

@1911sa Many theorys have been going around about why Juno made you kill Lucy like one is that she is actually a templar along with Rebbecca and Shaun to make you access the memories of Ezio to gain the apple and the other was that she just doesnt fit into the plans that Minerva has set out
@peggleEXTREME well really there all ready is a short film called Assassin's Creed Lineage which takes place before Assassin's Creed 2 with the main character being Ezio's father Giovanni and can be found on extras on AC 2 or, if its still there, the Assassin's Creed website.

@halo14223 ironic considering your name is halo but it's the same with me. i've been waiting for this game for 3 months since i preordered the limited codex edition. halo: reach/fable 3 was just a time killer until this came out and i only bought black ops because i've never played a CoD game before.

@konservs im a bit with you, but there was a follow up for ac 1 on the psp and i think it was coz heaps of fans wanted to play in rome, so now they're making one with rome, but i agree with that last statment you made, ezios death at the end would be pretty good story line wise
@MarioTestverek No. I'd rather wait for a game that's been polished and tested to run on as many systems as possible as smoothly as possible, and not some buggy shovel-ware piece of crap that crashes, locks up, or refuses to work with my motherboard/processor/graphics card.

lol i beat the game the ending is kinda cool but also sucks at the same time cause you find the apple of eden and get to use it to kill people but when ur desmond u find it and the apple forces you to kill lucy the blond girl who got u out of abstergo
AMAZING. just finished this game, people said it played like an expansion but...if thats the case...ITS A DAMN GOOD EXPANSION. EVERYBODY, BUY THIS GAME. THE ENDING IS INCREDIBLE. and the multiplayer is absolutely unique. BUY IT. BUY IT!
@warhawksxaid the reason that peaple are saying stuff like that is cuz they like the genre of the old ac (2) and they think it would ruin the game to put tanks and missiles in the game wich i agree with.. but im sure they have done a good work. :)
@peggleEXTREME I'm pretty sure that Ubisoft won't allow any movies to made until they have completed their story's. Plus if the movie turns out to be a fail, they will llose sales but if they finish the games first then the don't have to worry about sales.

Buy this or Black Ops... I already got Reach, but COD is so different from it and Assassins Creed is amazing but I dont know about how long it would last me. Can anyone advise me on which to buy. I like games like Halo, Fable and Red Faction Guerilla

this vid is a trailer from ezio's point of view... i had once thought naively that the trailer from chesare's point of view was going to be the best assasin's creed brotherhood trailer ever... i can see now that i am wrong...

I played this tonight - both single and multiplayer. This is even better than AC2 which was awesome. I had to force myself off the console because I have work tomorrow and need sleep. A+ for story, gameplay, fun and graphics.
Why oh why did pc version got delayed... Piratism or console version sell better? You are so annoying people there ubisoft! U do awesome game like this but us pc gamers like me have to wait becuz pc is so forgotten >:(
@endeverafter2 inot only that but i had every item possible and all glyphs i dont think the glyphs add to the villas value but i didnt go around scanning and decoding those things just to get my villa blown up

@EmporerAaron too much gameplay to be a movie, ezio's story takes 2 games to tell. thats like 30hours+ of gameplay. if u make it into a movie i doubt there would be as much action and it will fell rushed and you won't be able to connect with the characters the way you do in the game. they tried to do this with The Last Airbender, a great tv show and tried to turn it into a movie, movie sucked =(
If you play the game, you realize at 0:33 whoever was playing for this footage went the entire game without buying any armor or the second hidden blade, and is still using the common sword. :P

@sportsmad1000 Ezio probably will die which will lead to the Templar's gaining the advantage. BTW I'm not sure about Ezio dieing or not, it's just my oppinion. I'm still at the first level of the game.

@LilBigRandom Some idiot posted it on the offical assassins creed forum. Some people in the US have got the game today (a day early) so the game has been completed, and the ending is out there.
@hughzi95 mate, i am afraid are informed, you only play as Altiar fas part of a memory Ezio accesses , and they confirmed that there is one coming out next year which is going to be AC3 and this revelations will tie up all the loose ends so far in order to make a bad ass AC3 and don't bother replying cuss when it does come out next year your gonna feel like a idiot...
@spouse12 BUT Montreal is the largest ubisoft's devellopement studio in that point, you are right (btw ubi headquarters are in "Montreuille" If I remember well its near Paris)
@sniffy1233 well actually ACB came out last year in november, but for pc it has been pushed back to 17-18 march. And in may we get info about ac3, probably what assassin and timeline.
