I've been playing assassin's creed from the first game i think the parkour here is a bit clunky in animation... But overall it's great to see the parkour is fully functional and has the same quality as the other AC games, unlike AC identity where the parkour is a downgrade from the PC games And if you're wondering, most of the parkour mechanics here are taken from Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Hey keep in mind that this game is for mobile devices, so there's a reason why the animations looked so clunky compared to the pc/console versions. I mean the animations looks more smoother and fluid than Genshin Impact. Although the game is still in beta, so the animations might get updated in it's full release
Not really lol look at at genshin impact and there games animations. These could def be polished up. Even shadow fight has better animations. These are extremely stiff
@@touka6589you're kidding right? This beta version alone has parkour mechanics along with environmental physics like when you walk into bushes the vegetations moves away from the character. Also when swimming the ripple effects follows you. The shader & Ray tracing in this game is way more complicated than Genshin due to its realism graphics.
Yeah, it's kind of jarring, especially with those over-top flips added to the mix, I kind of wished that they had taken more gameplay influence from first AC games. I still believe those games had the perfect parkour system.
It's a mix of ac origins and watch dogs 2 in my opinion ( for the landing animations mostly). It seems bztter than what i expected Is there vaults? (Like speed vault, thief vault,...)
The parkour motions aren't bad for a mobile game. The new flip animation is reminiscent of oriental martial arts movies. It reminds me of Misthios landing without taking damage.
Damn, doesn’t seem like theres a manual jump. I see him spamming the jump button but the character only jumping when they hit a ledge Edit: hm, maybe I spoke too soon? 3:56 he taps jump and the character jumps across the rope. I need to play this game
What a shame that they decided to make this game on mobile, I won’t play it, but will read a summary of the story since it is quite interesting lore wise.
@@sjwjsaw You care about how realistic parkour in a series with magical apples and staffs. The parkour in the other games are just as unrealistic. In unity you can jump from an extrememe height grab a ledge and survive.
Highly dissapointing due to the fact that the previous ac games have better parkour but it is still a pretty decent game though, regarding it is in mobile.
@@kenni33131. Well for one the parkour here actually looks interesting… unlike valhallas slow,bland,robotic,clunky, unsatisfying excuse for a parkour system. (Jade also has more interesting animations) 2. When a mobile game has better cloth physics than a AAA title 💀 3. Protagonist actually looks like an assassin for once,unlike the last two games Only thing Valhalla has a pass for is the graphics and “cutscenes”
Too many icons on screen, god. Why devs stopped to use contextual icons? Looks like a generic gatcha in that sense. Hope the overall is good and better
so they finally make a japanese AC game and it's mobile only? jesus what a waste. oh well, the series has been long dead either way, not like it would've been good to begin with.
@@Liqhtmare yeah i figured after posting, especially considering it's called 'jade'. "There is a Japanese AC in development but it'll be a RPG." damn, that's still a waste.
