The most cold-blooded assassination that truthfully had a chilling impact was Germain's. Arno made him feel every slow second of that blade, with a dead stare. The only other time prior to that where I felt it was truly a kill motivated by rage and hatred, was when Ezio killed Uberto for betraying his father and brothers.
Ezio stabbed uberto multiple times in a fast amount of time, in his rage. but arno, he only stabbed germain once, and he slowly inserted it into germains flesh so he can feel all of the pain.
@@ufm123 Ezio Also stabbed Ulberto 5 times one for each of his family members even though he didn’t kill his sister and mother I still count it because he put them in danger.
I already knew he was gonna skip AC 1 despite the many epic moments and assassinations from Altair, like Al Mualim "the student defeat the teacher" moment or Robert de Sable "You have taken my life and so damned yours" when he tells him the truth about his master, people who started the series with Ezio's games tend to believe AC 1 is bad, boring and skippable to the point of forgetting it even exists it's their fault if after years we never had an AC 1 remastered or even a simple ps4 port for it and we probably never will, cause Ubisoft thinks almost no one liked the first game so they won't bother making it available to other consoles...
@@MERCYLESS_EDITS_GAMING Yep. In Haytham's journal, he notes that one of the assassins threw a knife, but it only damaged the rope; it didn't cut it. After hesitating for a moment because he knew what he *should* do, he throws a knife of his own, cutting the rope.
@@quiet3455 but the AC2 novel doesn't line up with the game at all. The thing is almost an entirely different storyline. Considering we are in the animus, there is no way the two storylines could work together. But I do see your point.
@@MOH-ph3qm assassination means killing a known personality but his case was not by hand since Ezio granted him that mercy but it is still 2nd degree manslaughter that matches assassination perfectly
@@MOH-ph3qm Hypothetical situation... I get paid to assassinate someone, I push them off a roof, by your logic I shouldn't get payed because gravity killed them lmao
And prity hardcore indoctrination at that to. They killed his father in front of him then gas lite him on it for years. Dude ended up dispising everything related to his father because of them. And if he was using Arno as an example (Arno would at this point in time be raised by bealopen the Templar leader) as Arno was never indoctrinated, hes off massively their. Sorry to tell you this hathem but it was never anyones intention to recruiter Arno into the order. Arno was adopted out of respect for Charles and the only reason why Charles was even killed was because he had the box. That Box is a blight on humanity, its caused an untold amount of pointless deaths. If it wasn’t for that box Charles would have been fine. unlike in the americas and Britain, franch was completely stable. They had a truce that lasted almost 40 years before the revolution caused it to fracture. Frances set up at that time was more like that of the golden age of the mob. They worked off the principles similar to that of the almarta and higher tier killings even on another side had to be green lite by both sides higher ups. Out of all time periods we’ve been able to play in this is probably one of the most stable of all of them before its absolute collapse. Their was no reason to indoctrinate Arno, their wasnt even really a reason to recruite him. Hell he was sheltered from the truth. Not until Bealopen died did he even know what a Templar or assasin was.
true but even after discovering it was templars who killed Edward, Haytham didn't leave the order because he believed in the templar cause, and even him didn't like what some templars did to stay in control, like the Bulldog.
People ignore the present day plot, and juno. The reality is that all the old games, (AC1-Syndicate) were part of a major storyline, and it isn't a crossover, but a sequel. Sad that ubisoft rusehd all games to release so close to eachother tho. That said, the new games have a far less clear vision for narrative, many people simply don't understand assassin's creed, all because the the new games.
@@tonyleidyiii1652i honestly think that would’ve been a better idea than the dead kings dlc, have Arno be told about Shay being the man responsible for his father’s death and then hunt Shay down and leading to a boss battle with a style similar to Arno vs Bellec or Ezio vs Cesare
Francois Thomas Germain (ACU) had The most brutal death: no music, Arno stab him as slow as he can to let him feel everything, not to mention The sound effect. It’s perfect.
@@sheddy22 Connor absolutely did not want to kill Haytham. He wanted his father to work with him, not oppose him or trick him every step of the way. But Connor was never one to openly grieve, and he tempered that grief to rise as a Master Assassin.
@@itsmekars4311 yes, but I couldn’t get through this stub completely, of course I’m not smart, but I have enough brains not to play this, unfortunately, I didn’t have enough brains not to start it.
@@postonian425 because take a look at all the assassins creed games and look for what I'm trying to say they have had so many historical people throughout the games it would only make sense to make a assassin's creed game with John F Kennedy as a Templar because if you have played assassin's creed 3's dlc involving Connor Kenway and George Washington you would know George Washington betrays Connor
For those who don't know Haytham had no intention of killing Connor Edit: When Connor kills Haytham if you go to the homestead basement you can see he writes "I made a mistake" in Mohawk language
@@hoddedman_ARG I strongly doubt Connor would be swayed to the Templars side. If anything he’d go full rogue and hunt down anyone involved in harming his people
Idk why, but Elize’s death as haunted me for some reason. Even when I first played it, I think it’s cause of the DLC and how it portrayed the passing of someone so accurately. Arno is just empty up until the main story of the dlc of course.
Even my least favorite games in the franchise still deliver some epic moments. But Origins takes the crown for the best assassination scenes. Whoever plays Bayek did a great job.
Haytham letting his Guard down after praising the superiority of the Templers ( which leads him to be exposed and forget about connors hidden blade) is very deep.
The way Arno slowly presses the blade into Thomases neck is really chilling. In what seems like a calm killing, is filled with anger and rage, and the slowness is simply Arno, making sure that Thomas feels every inch of that blade. Unity is such an incredible game.
In Unity I knew about opportunities but never used them that you can kill Sivert like that and La Touche, always making assassination on them in regular way
That slow stab into Germain's face by Arno for killing Elise was so well deserved. Icing on the cake was hiding his bones among the many. No Sage DNA for Abstergo.
Other Villains: We had most painful and brutal death. Caesar: You know whats more worse than getting stabbed by assassin at infront of people in public then tons of people has started to stab me multiple times? Even my son stabbed me as well yet the spot he stabbed was literally painful than other stab wounds.. Uberto: Welcome to my world there fella
Ahhh Haytham Kenway, the extremely popular Templar grand master. I really hope that Ubisoft makes a game with Haytham as the main character. But of course, we probably will never get our wish.
For me, I’d say that Chrysis’s assassination counts. Reason being because Alexios, or Kassandra’s way they talk is so powerful that you can just feel the rage too.
True, especially since isn't Chrysis the one that took Alexios or Kassandra (depending on who you play as the protagonist) as a baby and tortured them into becoming Deimos.
I mean once you get stabbed in the jugular, as those big blood vessels in your neck, you are pretty much done. So a common assassination animation shows the assassin grabbing the target from behind, coving their mouth with their right hand, then stabbing them with their hidden blade into their neck with their left.
Am I the only one who wonders why Francesco de Pazzi survives the fall, considering the posture in which he fell meaning he wouldn't have landed directly into the haystack
One of my least favourite this about this franchise is how similar nearly all of the assassinations are. Like, imagine actually having to plan to take out a target, and there are different challenges and ways in which to kill someone.
When Bayek killed the hippo and lost his finger to the hidden blade, it started the finger sacrifice. Has to be one of the most iconic assassinations of all time
the strange thing is that arno victor dorian wants to see the death of dela serre instead of focusing on the death of his father he could have thought of his dead father and killed shay patrick cormac
10:45 Ezio stabs him with his right blade, which was broken at the very start of the game (at this point he does not have the hookblade). Is this an oversight, or was there enough of the blade left intact to still stab him?
@@SomeStupidGuy249 that's true, however when he equips his blades after getting caught in the intro cutscene, he puts the working blade on his left hand. So you can do the standard assassination animation. So when he kills the templar guy, he has the working blade on his left arm.
Ngl it# kinda a rip there is no "Assasins Creed: Odyssey" because i woule really like seeing the death of Elpenor in this video, other than that. Great vid!
10:10 "thetyrant is dead you are free now" Proceed to exit the senate and tell the roman people, only to be met with blank stares and angry faces. The senators just realised they have made a GRAVE mistake. for Caesar won the peoples hearts and the senate had robbed them of that. In ancient history the senators who murdered caesar were arrested and killed and those who escaped, got caught and killed. the last 2 to survive thought that leaving to Africa would save them, until a soldier recognised them and went up to them to ask who they were, obviously knowing. the senators tried to bluff, but mid sentence the soldier took out his sword and slashed one's throat and the other was later decapitated. Their corpses left to the sands and beasts of the sands. Spitting on their body and cursing their names.
Brudenell assassination is the coolest, but by far the most cold blooded is Germain's. Arno did enjoy every milimetre of his blade stabbing on to Germain's throat
15:13 Normally an Assassin is calm, collected and kills with style with one shot; this time Ezio was so angry he stabbed him five times with his fist still tightening because of how ruthless this was meant to be!
Haytham has no intention to kill Connor He could've killed injured Connor in that open battle. Or he could've used his hidden blades while choking Connor.
My favorite assassination is Ulberto always as its the showing that ezio is a child not trained in the ways of the assassins and going off feelings and instinct.
AC syndicate has been slept on by many i mean the game is fun and got a lot of creative assassination mission, on top of that we got the chance to feel like thomas shelby
