@@sp3ctr362 it was a game that once stuck close to historical events and figures, while having distinctive game mechanics. Now most of its plots are made up and leaned too far into the mythical side, while gameplay just look like another RPG with parkour.
@@thecommentguy9380 It isn't even great parkour. The parkour was so downgraded from Unity/Syndicate to Origins. I had the great fortune of playing the "Phase 2" games first (Origins, Odyssey) and they're actually quite good as rpg. But if I had played the games chronologically and came from the "Phase 1" games first (from Assassin's Creed all the way down to Syndicate), I definitely would have hated the RPG ones. I ended up dropping Valhalla because I played all the games from ACII to Black Flag before it was released so I could "catch up". Big mistake :')
@@kpopgirl1992 yeah unity peaked in parkour, syndicate was an attempt to streamline it which kinda worked. Origins forward was oversimplified to the point of downgrade
@@thecommentguy9380 There's hope with Mirage. Seems like they're going back to the roots (literally), so hopefully it will be good again. I missed ACTUAL stealth and blending into the crowd and everything. Origins to Valhalla just... had the hidden blade lol. They're good as generic rpgs but not as Assassin's Creed games.

@hoyori465 I forgot what game it was. Maybe unity, but wasn't there like a game mode or something that was in development that ended up being scrapped that took place in German occupied Paris where you would run around the Eiffel tower which maybe had nazi flags and all that idk.but the idea of an assasins creed game taking place during the past 100 or so years would be interesting if done correctly
in unity and syndicate, we had Arno in WW2 (Paris)but it was him "bugging" and we had Lydia frye (descendant of Evie/Jacob Frye) where we could play her in WW1 I think (London)
@@c-2-resh-18kek9 yeah.... new assassins creed games got so repetitive its so boring for me to do stuff...... it doesn't feel enough assassins creed let alone... it's so clunky asf when trying to move my character and so on like they be doing shit I ain't even trying to do.
Started replaying Unity recently and damn, cant remember why I thought it was "meh" on release. There are some definite flaws but Im really enjoying it now. The movement is incredible, really fluid and feels like a pure AC game. Bit of nostalgia somehow in that gameplay even though it is still a current gen game. But Unity may deserve a hell load more love than it actually got.
Yes I loved it when it came out and the multiplayer was too much fun.I think that game got judged too harshly and as time goes by people will change their minds
Unity is the only AC game I've ever played first two times I played it I hated it and never played it for a year. I played it again and now I'm in love with AC and the iron mask outfit
I just got it for 4.50. I've heard its ahead of its time graphics wise and its a fun one. Haven't played it yet. Just finished downloading and I have to finish Syndicate first cause I already started playing. Last one I played was Black Flag and didnt even finish it.
The Catholic Church is not corrupt in parts of assassins I, II, and the Brotherhood tells the Templars are inversely proportional to the real world when the Templars were burned and destroyed by the Church because of the corruption of the Order and committing idol worship in the Renaissance century. subservient church and state are not independent.
I thought being an assassin would be cool, but the reality is that you'll see the people you love most get killed...just like when they they killed ezio's parents
would be so cool if this was done in the year timeline order. beginning with its origins etc. very well done tho.... watched it a few time over, replaying the games in my head also lol.
im not this far in the story line, did he really just want to be the one to kill her? did he kill her? or was it a rescue until he realized she wore the Templars crest?
I love how in the trailer of 3 it shows the true flag of the rebellion the blue British flag because everyone thinks that it was the normal American flag but in any rebellion you usually fly the flag of that country to remind your men your still under the boot but when your free you burn it
all we need another story line like ezio thats it we don' t want to make home or doing side missions for levelling up we want the feel the nostalgia we had while playing the ezio triology
You mean an amazing storyline with a likable cast who grow throughout their character arc while providing a decent "present day" story-telling with actually skilled modern assassins that go on missions? Why, how ever would UBISOFT make money if they're actually dedicating *time* and *energy* into a good product? 🤣
They dug this grave themselves.... it's fine trying something new but when they come out with something that's nothing close to even assassins creed it's like an insult to fans. I can tell ghost of Tsushima made a better ninja assassin like game the ubisoft.... that's saying something. Tho the game got repetitive it atleast brings interests and drives the story like it's supposed to but to a game like assassins creed it makes no no sense..... neither is origins. Using the word but it doesn't even relate at all. Origins we should get the story of where they came from but nah we get a love romance sex and side missions and so on stuff. Pfftt... what a joke.
To me personally, AC: Valhalla feels just as "Assassin's Creed" as AC: Blackflag does. The only difference being that Valhalla leans way more into the lore and feeling of vikings. Both games deal with The Hidden Ones as strong allies, and while Eivor never does become a fully fledged Assassin like Edward does, they do have a strong friendship with them that helps pave the way for them to take back control of England. I love both games very dearly, but Valhalla just has so much more for me. As for the "repetitiveness" part that I've seen many make strong and valid points from, I'm a simple man who loves doing anything in the game. Someone once said to me that some of the missions in Valhalla; "Are basically the same house with different paint."
Did you play any of them yet? If so, how were they. I played valhalla but still need to play valhalla. And if you played vahhalla was it like really long?
Cool game but Assassin greed is no longer the same thing, they have left behind the historic & more stealthy for more fantasy & action. Which is fine but since this change they should not be compared to each other.
@@creaturetransylvania8943 The rpg ac games can still be played stealthy, but it added rpg mechanics. I don' know why, but its probably so that even people who like the "doom" style will enjoy the ac rpg games.
AC franchise was just perfect. They gave us a long and deep story with the favorite one Ezio Auditore and they also gave us an assassin in almost every culture to explore.
The one good thing about Valhalla is how toned down the RPG stuff was from Odyssey. It’s got good qualities so I’d say Origin and Valhalla are the better games since they’ve changed but each have quite decent gameplay but it’s sucks they’ve kept with the whole RPG mechanics in the games.
@@toothlessthenightfury2088 personally i like ac 4 much more than revelations. hell I'll even take syndicate. in all honestly i think these games should have been called an assassins creed side story or something.
This is good. You got my Like. Still, I'd wished they would actually start making video games into movies. The following games would be amazing movies: Assassin's Creed The Elder Scrolls Fallout EVE Online Mass Effect Call of Duty (Only if the battle scenes are as intense as the games) There are many more. I just can't think of them now.
God knows how much I loved playing AC. Played most of em but the first 3 ones were instant classics after their release! My personal favourite is Origins. Too bad they messed up right after with Odyssey and just like black flag i didnt like those 2 as much but I noticed other players rating those as their favourite AC's. Just to show that Ubisoft makes AC versions to everybodies taste! Keep it up Ubi!! When will we see another FC Primal?! I want a second one!!
In a couple years they'll make an assassin's creed for the modern templars that need to be 'found'. Plenty of corruption and people nowadays for at least two games per continent.
Yh just not too futuristic with hacking , but like current 2020, fucking up hoodlums shotting on pedals and politicians in royces, Assassins Creed Blue Blood Ghetto
Crazy idea but if Ubisoft transitioned from making AC games and making animated movies with the early trailers semi-realistic design then they would probably be praised. As long as they don’t cock up the story it’d be so lucrative for them. Watching Ezio or Connor in these cinematic trailers makes me want to see their whole story in this dramatic format. Am I too high or would this not be awesome
